Seems like that Courtois was as gormless as he looked. Who would think that the internets would be kind to him? big nosed bastard, I hope he breaks a neck bone.

His 'Chelsea family' comment was somewhat 'condescending'! I don't know who (if anybody) thought that a comment like that would be a good idea but whoever it was aren't the brightest of sparks!

Zouma just confirmed to Everton....

 

I was hoping that we would be able to keep Bats around this season but maybe Sarri believes he can compete with Morata, Giroud and Tammy as our strikers.

Hopefully Valencia is a good fit for Bats

Generally speaking this many additions doesn't bode well for a side. We'll see though. Happy for Zouma though. Think he can slot in right away.

 

Very disappointed by this. Giroud should have probably be the one to be loaned out as he isn't close to Sarri's play.

 

Here's what is really strange, we were needing to shed two players, which we did in Bats and Zouma, to meet the homegrown quota, how in the hell will Everton meet those guidelines with all of those players they have brought in?

I'm happy Zouma is getting another PL loan but I think now it is quite apparent with the shift to a back four again that his time with the club come next summer is probably up and we will move him on for another hefty fee.

 

I'm going to hold out hope. However under Sarri he just doesn't fit.

 

1. Michy had a much higher loan fee value than Tammy. That's why Tammy is here. And I guess Sarri didn't see much difference in quality.

2. When will we run out of players to loan and sell to fund our category A signings?

 

I'm sure that played a role but not for Sarri the board. For Sarri it's likely easier to manage Tammys expectations as 3rd choice than Mitchy's.

Hahahaha. I was actually expecting someone to say thay maybe sometime in the past he has played as a striker, which I wasn’t aware of. It seems it’s not the case. Hahahaha.

Anyway, he’s on striker’s section on the website. Not sure if it’s an error on the website content itself, or if we’ll really see him playing as a striker this season.

 

Might be our lack of great options wide. I wonder if Marina will be smart enough to do with someone like Pulisic* what Pool did with Naby Keita.

It's too late for that. If try and buy i. January his price will likely be even higher. We should have bought now and loaned back for the year.

 

He’ll have one year left on his deal next year. I don’t think he’ll be a lot more expensive in January. Besides, we can do that kind of deal literally at any time.
