I didn’t renew my season tix this season, watched the game against LA and skipped the Orlando game.

It occurs to me that over the past decade, I cannot recall a single time where I skipped a Fire match and regretted it.

HOW bad must it get before Pauno and NRod get FIRED?

Joe if you indeed own part of this team, can you show us by getting rid of these TWO assholes?

I expect Pauno to be fired or at the very least boiling if we don't get a result against NYRB.
Then again, Nelson does weird sh!t and I fully think that Mansueto's just giving Nelson one year with a full arsenal of money at his disposal to see if he can do anything.

I don't think he should get any credit for the 2008 and 2009 seasons, he had nothing top do with those teams except for making harder on them, because of hiring Hamlett as the coach.

    So it's more like:

    97 wins
    119 losses
    93 draws

    1.24 PPG
    31,3% WIN%

Not a huge difference, but both of those make it the Eastern Conference Finals, but if we had competent coach we should have made it to MLS CUP both times and winning at least one of them, if not both.

Probably. He actually does make it to a lot of games, which makes it even weirder that he does nothing for the team. It's sort of like me showing up to every class only to not do any of the schoolwork.

Watching the highlights on YouTube is really sad. There can't be more than a couple hundred people there. Not long now until we bury the MLS Cup in the same ditch that the two Soccer Bowls reside in.

  15. You want to bury those trophies with Jimmy Hoffa Sr. eh?

  16. In the shade it was pretty cold. And windy. A bit rough.

Took the kids...and wife... cause I got them a suite....but they decided to sit outside the whole game.. wouldn't go inside....but in the sunshine it wasn't bad.

Yes, I find attendance a bit disappointed.

I haven't been following. Since Mansueto came on has the team been spending any sort of money, or is it still Jimmy John's?

I haven't watched a single game or highlight yet this season and I'm not sure when I will. Maybe they've upgraded to Mr Submarine? That said...

P.S. Mods can we sticky this thread already?

Mistakes are still being made for sure but there are a few reasons to raise an eyebrow.

    Yes, it is, sadly.

One, they have actual bread, not that white, tasteless, cottony nonsense Jimmy Johns sells.
Two, they are a local company, at least, having stated in Chicago in 1975.

This thread has fallen to page 2 of my view, and I rely on it for entertainment and commiseration.

So I will bump it with a question:

What advice do you have if I find myself sharing an elevator with Hauptman?

Perhaps you can tell him you appreciate a minimalist lifestyle but let him know that perhaps it shouldn’t be applied to the Fire’s budget....
