It has been a week since there has been a post in this thread. It fell to the middle of page 2. Too busy talking about video games and food and alcohol and other "vices" and you ignore the biggest vice associated with the Chicago Fire. For shame, each and every one of you! For shame!
Wow, that confused me for a second. I clicked on the video and, at first, thought the Youtube video was the mlsssoccer.com video and I thought, "There is no way they would post that." Then I noticed the "vs." and it all made sense.
I just thought before the new season kicks off, I should thank Hauptman and Rodriguez for all they have done for me as a Fire fan. I have saved soooo much money because of them. Because of their greed and ineptitude the club I love has been so bad that it is not worth watching, as you all know. I go to one game a year with my sons and friends. After that, maybe if the game they are playing is on one of the channels I'm already paying for, I may watch on TV. But actually spending money to buy another streaming service to watch a dismal display of football? No siree Bob. So, in the end, I no longer (like in the Wilt era), plan my schedule around Fire games. I spend more time with my family doing outdoors stuff. Or biking or kayaking or golfing. And I don't spend it on parking in a dusty (or muddy) gravel lot, and having to deal with the anxiety of getting sent to a far away entrance by Bridgeview's finest. Or getting expensive tickets (or even inexpensive ones on StubGeek). Or paying the price of a six pack for one beer. Or buying expensive cold, withered hot dogs left behind from the last raccoon orgy. Or spending a Benjamin for the latest un-Fire-like jersey. Nope. I have to thank Messers Hauptman and Rodriguez for saving me all this money for the last, how many years? In any case, my wallet thanks you both.
Scene, not heard from. So this asshole will fly to Spain, but won't fly to Chicago to watch his team.
You mean because he hasn't named him to the circular eponymous honor. Has anyone? BTW Ben, I have to pick up my 2000 Open Cup banner one of these days.
Actually it should be in the dustbin of bigsoccer history , only to be pulled out when @bunge has had a late night and wants to pull up "rubber dick " quotes. Until then... #hauptmanout
