There have been three expansion teams officially join the league this year, Miami, Nashville and Cincinnati. With that Andi made $13,336.956.52, this is the number ONE reason why this asshole isn't going to sell team. I bet the league will go past 28 teams like they said, more like what NFL, MLB, NBA & NHL have (30-32). I wouldn't doubt it if we end up at 34 or 36 teams. Miami $25,000,000 (Beckham reduced rate), $25,000,000/23 teams = $1,086,956.52 Nashville $150,000,000, $150,000,000/24 = $6,250,000 Cincinnati $150,000,000, $150,000,000/25 = $6,000,000 For a total of $13,336,956.52 Percentage each team gets will decrease, but the expansion fees will go up. So don't expect him to sell until we get close to max teams 32-36, unless he gets a crazy offer.
I they did before the new FOX deal, for three years (2012-2014) and I believe there were ZERO FIRE games on NBC. Edit: October 6, 2012 New York Redbulls vs. Chicago FIRE NBC aired 3 regular season games and two playoffs each year for three year (15 games total), we played in one of them.
I know they used to, but that's 4 years ago. Including NBC now in this thread is silly. At least we've made appearances on Univision.
If you want to include other NBC stations. How about NBC 5.2? Remember that GREAT local TV deal Mr. Hauptman got us.
We were pretty bad those years and the league only wanted to showcase good and popular teams. Oh I remember that as well. Even if it was a shitty 480p SD stream at least you could tune in OTA. I remember watching a free game of the week that was airing on MLSLive and 5.2, airing at the same time. The picture quality of the one streaming on MLSLive was actual HD while us Fire fans locally had shit quality. It's just another reason (in a long long list) for #HauptmanOut
However, this gain is offset by their percentage loss of SUM. This is the real reason why expansion fees have gone up so much.
I'm impressed with McLain, he's made some wonderful saves since he's started... and we need him to because our defense is a joke.

#HauptmanOut clock, from the day it was started, not sure what time burningfire posted it, so I plugged in noon. https://www.tickcounter.com/countup/64991/my-count-up
