Is that a photo from after last year's playoff game of the stolen golf cart that was flying around TP's parking lot? I hope they caught the culprits.
Im fine with that being directed at Hauptman, but it could likely be Philadelphia too (maybe San Jose).
fair enough, but there are only a few true "major markets" - and we're the only one of them that has consistently shat the bed this hard for this long
No TV deal No attendance No real communication No sense of community No training complex No CAM No CB No GK No RW No backs that can cross No pavement in the parking lot No tradition No passion No honor No fvcks given #HauptmanOut
Hauptman has no desire to win. Heck, LAFC has existed for two weeks and are crushing everyone. No plan, no desire. Complete joke.
Yep I don't make it a point to follow the behind the scenes stuff but, this whole tv thing has really made it obvious. This franchise is going to completely stagnate without tv exposure. Home opener and only what 2/3 full stadium on a relatively sunny day? And they expect new people to start paying $5 a month to watch? I feel sorry for Bastian at this point. I wonder if he ever thought he'd play for a team with less viewers than some dude streaming league of legends on twitch? They really should turn over some portion of ownership to him like drogba at this point
Yes, Hauptman was there because he cannot figure out how to access ESPN+ or whateverthef*ck it is, either.
Hauptmann was there to hand deliver the millions of undeclared dollars he has to pay Schweinsteiger under the table just to play for such a sucky ass team. #HauptmanOut
Hauptmann was there be cause he was in town to see his buddy Rahm and check out the plans for the new soccer stadium in the City and figure out how to drive People of Color out of Chicago and import new white yuppies to work at Amazon. #HauptmanOut
Our new TV partner is an app that doesn’t exist yet. I found this out after buying a new TV because my existing TV had limited internet capabilities but suited me fine before the Fire stopped broadcasting the games. MLS Live doesn’t have an app on my platform either but I can do screen share. As a add on service this is fine and even nice, as a stand-alone service it’s the dumbest thing an owner can do. Look at what happened to the Blackhawks after they stopped televising the games for free, the team became nonexistent. They had several decades of history and generations of fans too. Not being on TV also hurt their attendance, I remember going to a Blackhawks game on a Saturday night and the place was empty. I paid 10 bucks for a nosebleed seat and was near the first few rows after first intermission. If people think attendance is bad now, just wait! If they were going to do this, they should have done it on a platform most people are already familiar with and use regularly like YouTube or Facebook and you don’t charge people. Honestly it’s so stupid it almost seems strategic. How does anyone with the least bit of business sense not see how awful of an idea this is?
Ummmmm.......ummmmm......... Ummmmm.......ummmmm.....thinking of response..........ummmmm.......he's smoking the legal weed in California? Evidence attached
In case you're wondering #cf97 doesn't need to rebrand. It doesn't need another stadium. What it does need is an owner that cares. I mean really fucking cares. That hires the right people & gives them the tools to succeed. One that is proactive and not reactive @thesoccerdon— Frank Cardenas 🎺 (@TrumpetGuapo) March 12, 2018
Until the rest of the league owners put his feet to the fire again (see Schweinsteiger signing) expect nothing from this bum.
He's a vicious anti-Mexican RACIST!, and I encourage all amigos dela comunidad to boycott everything and anything Fire related. The only fans that him and his minions care about are bearded white hipster $20/bottle of weirdo imported/craft beer drinking' Northsiders and suburbanites. If, like Columbus, he could move the team to more white environs, he would in a second, but he's stuck in a city where racial minorities are the majority, and the stadium is far away from their hipster heaven. #HauptmanOut
