If anyone else is watching this LAG-Timbers game. This is exactly what Dax mean by the Fire having a losing culture. LA went down a man, Van Damme in the 34th minute. They lost Dos Santos at half time to injury. This is like a B version of their team and showing more fight than I have seen in a long time. That's what a winning culture does. Even of they lose, you have to respect it.
I think that 13,00o was about right for the people that were there. I give the Fire credits for announcing the real attendance. Walking around the stadium, I was really impressed by how many enthusiastic Fire fans were at the game. It was really, really cold. Not bad considering everything.
You know what I wasn't impressed by? Having no police to help direct pedestrians across harlem at the corner of 71st and Harlem like normal. Just glad I didn't get ran over by people turning right even though there was a walk light. Also did the village file noise complaints or something? The fireworks made no noise
