Has the end of year sickness hit the FO?

I don't know about you all, but I just received the blast email from DCU informing me about my ability to renew season tix for next year. I found this more than a bit odd.

I am United to the core, and of course I'll be standing and playing in the Barra next year. Still, it just seems emblematic of the end of the season, like a funk has hit the entire team top to bottom and has now spread to the normally solid front office.

The Blackout party we had 12 hours notice. Now we get a note from the FO asking us to renew while the steam is still rising from the pile left on the field last Sunday.

This wouldn't have made more sense coming on Friday? Or even next week when there might be some news -- any news -- to distract us?

Just surprised, I guess. Hey team. Snap out of it.

I could use your large, Scruggs. We had 4, but apparently lost one, along with my posted jacket. Guess I should want my beer consumption from now on! Let me know.

I got that email. I popped open a beer, chanted "Fvck you Jeff, Fvck you Jeff" at my neighbor, lit a smoke bomb and threw it out on my front yard. Off to do a little drumming.

    I need a hobby

I also thought the timing of the email was strange. Hey, when you don't have any away tickets to be selling, you gotta do something, right? :(

Now why would Barra Brava be buying season tickets from the front office? Doesn't support of the barra brava mean buying tickets from Oscar?

The majority do, some don't. Besides, if you're a season ticket holder regardless of where you buy them you get on DC Uniteds data base and get sent the emailer.

anybody know if new england is set to have a $5 ticket eastern final this weekend? or is it harry potter night?

i guess they call off the revolutionary guard since united isnt coming up...the last time united played them there were as many people dressed up like sam adams shooting off rifles as there were fans in the stands

Dunno about muggles, but Rapids might be having another Bring Your Dog to the Game night...

dream final Revs-Rapids, 20 people in the stands and week later noone remembers who won.

I hear you, bro. Last night watching TV, my wife got pissed off at me because I was standing on my chair and waving a flag in her field of view.

Can I come to your house and sing "Chico's Neighbor / has a very nice hairdo..."?

Just remember -- don't sing "Wings of an Eagle" around your neighbors.

Sure, but humming it to myself while dealing with morons at work helps me keep my sanity. ("...I'd fly over tech support tomorrow...")
