Oh great. Why do those wannabes find this shit so exciting? Is it because they suck really bad in the concacaf champions league and they have to resort to this? Pathetic.
I find it pathetic that mls supporters care about this useless tournament no one in Mexico gives a damn
that's exactly why. So now that these Mexican teams have agreed to play, they BETTER take it seriously and WIN it. I expect nothing less than an all-Mexican final. We fans have to act like mothers of the Mexican Federation and make sure that they have everything squared with United Marketing before they play.... Hey Mexico, did you make sure the referees are qualified? Did you make sure that the fields will be in acceptable conditions? Did you sort out that idiotic tiebreaking procedure? I just read wiki and I see that the tiebreaking is once again retarded. So this means that a team may again be in the situation where losing by 8 goals would be better than winning the match. I hope the Mexican teams PAY ATTENTION this time, and use the retarded tiebreaking rules to their advantage this time. Ugh, I fear they won't. We fans shouldn't let these Mexican teams play unless they fixed the aforementioned issues. We should stop them, ask them them the aforementioned questions, and if they haven't resolved those problems, then they can't go play. ********. Let's at least email the Mex Federation and tell them to pay attention to the tiebreaking rules this time. Guadalajara was so f'n stupid last year to not know the rules, and thus the Dynamo advanced instead of them.
I think after this year this tournament will die. The reason being that none of the "big teams" are there. Hence, not much revenue will be produced. As well as not much interest from fans, if there even is much interest.
Check out what they're saying in their section of the forum... "I can't wait" "These were the most exciting games of the season!" I think you should post over there and give them a reality check
Read an article over on SI.com (in their soccer section) about how a columnist thinks the SuperLiga will gain in importance among Mexican clubs now that they arent playing in CONMEBOL tournaments. I have a hard time picturing teams in the FMF feeling this joke of a tourney is worth something big now. They, CONMEBOL, and we know its only a matter of time until Mexican teams are back in the Libertadores and Sudamerica. My favorite part was when a Chivas USA scrub was quoted as saying Mexican clubs have excuses not to perform well in the SuperLiga. I take it he doesnt log onto Bigsoccer and see the excuses spazzos post throughout the year.
Suddenly, SuperLiga matters more Andrea Canales = Femfa That should tell you how shitty the spazzo journalists are.
Why don't Mexican teams just decline the invite to play in superliga altogether? Seriously,I don't see how they find this exciting really. We should stick to the CCL and get rid of this superliga.
LOL While the under 20 team will be playing in the Hanna Barbera Cup the real team will be playing a friendly. Leones Negros enfrentará a Tigres el sábado
LOL well, i guess the only upside to this is that at least the coaches get to see the young guys in action
