They seem desperate to form rivalries with anyone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_SuperClasico http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brimstone_Cup http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Derby You know a rivalry is fake when it has a sponsor or some corny cup made up by marketing executives. As if that wasn't enough, they're trying to go international with this. I mean shit a Mexican team plays an MLS team twice, they throw a decent show and all of a sudden the hate starts spewing from their end. I wonder if they'll ever try to start a rivalry with Saprissa
gotta spread some rep, man i would so post that in the mls forums but i already promised i wont troll
They are pathetic those chants are too funny with the stadium being almost 100% mexican they will not be heard
Those chants are terrible. Based on an informal survey of my own family, I don't know how many Mexicans will go to the Chivas game in DC. Between the fact that it's the HB Cup, that Chivas have been here twice in the past year, that other Mexican clubs like America, Morelia, Pachuca have also come, and the economy, I'd be willing to bet there isn't as much interest. There'll be a bunch of people, just not as many as last year's games.
i had thought about going with some DCU people, but i think i'm just gonna watch on TV. living in the 'burbs makes it more than just a metro ride anymore.
Watching the game via stream on the superliga page, man these commentators make every excuse in the book for why MLS teams suck., When Mexican teams play against mls teams during concacaf champions, their excuse is that they are in preseason. now that they are playing the superliga the excuse they are using now is to due to having injured players out, salary caps advantages...wtf???can't these clowns just swallow the fact that these mls teams just plain suck presason or inseason.
