His game is well suited for the sand lot.

Actually, I like the kid. Hard nosed. Hard worker.

Room is quick and has made some nice saves this game. He's quick and big. But am I seeing things as I question his lateral explosiveness? A couple of times, including first goal last game, I felt like he doesn't get out very far and quickly left and right. Too early for me to make that call of course, but I thought I saw it again on the disallowed header.

Maybe we can bring Santos in at left back and move Maloney into midfield for a spark.

No card? That should be a straight red.

I'm convinced NYC could play with 9 men and Ring would still blow up all our attacks. He’s killing us out there.

I don't want to let Porter off the hook, at all. But I'd venture to say we are playing with two players, max, who would start on another MLS team.

And what a horrible statement that is....

Edit: I'll say 3 counting Room.

Why does every player think to cross the ball immediately when they get near the box with a step on the defender?

Not getting a card for a flying slide tackle directly from behind helps.

Afful is wide open in the box with the ball and decides to fall down instead of trying to score...

Sosa shouldn’t play for us again. Yet another disappointing appearance.

Porter subs out Sosa, as if he was the problem and not Guzman or Artur. Good times....

I’m thinking that if NY is going to play on this little field then perhaps 8 vs 8 is called for.
