    He's not 6 feet tall. The other african-american kid Olosunde is 6'0 or 6'1, and you can see that Haji is a few inches taller than him.

    Don't you get a yellow for taking any part of your gear off in a demonstrative manner? Or just jersey's?

    Go to 2:10 to see him standing right next to 6'4 or 6'5 Danny Barbir. Haji can't be more than an inch shorter, if even that. I think this should put that debate to rest. Also scored a goal at 1:50 in this video.

    Anyone know how many goals Haji has at the US ynt level? Seems like he scores AT LEAST one goal every game he plays.

    Forgive my ignorance, but who does Haji play for at the moment? I mean, I know he was with the Galaxy team, but he has refused to sign on with them. So is he just doing the Bradenton thing full-time or does he play elsewhere and just come in for the youth games? His situation is one I haven't followed very closely.

    I'm sure someone could add them all up but it would take a really long time. I think he averages closer to two goals per game than one.

    Schalke. He wasn't named to the Fall residency roster.

    Yeah, he's 14 months younger than Zelalem.

    And Haji is 13 months older than younger brother Hanif, who's also at Schalke.

    Two mistakes. He says we lost to Brazil 4-1. We won 4-1, and we won so comprehensively that the Brazillians got butt-hurt and stopped playing at the end of the game.

    How often do you hear about Ronaldo or Bale's soccer brain? Haji's a physical beast with a ton of skill and he's a very good goal scorer. He doesn't need to be a terrific playmaker.

    We beat them by that score at the 2013 Nike Friendlies but lost to them by that score at the 2014 Nike Friendlies. The assist that the article was talking about was a terrific assist though.

    playmaker =/= soccer brain

    I mean, people talk about Messi's soccer brain, for example.

    He plays a different game than Messi. He relies on athleticism, skill and goal scoring. There are plenty of players like that having success in the world.

    I really don't think it matters how good a 6'4 forward's soccer brain is. I'm not expecting a player like that to be a #10.

    You're apparently unaware that part of being a good goal scorer is positioning. See Gyasi Zardes 2013 vs. Gyasi Zardes 2014, for example.
