Do any of you Haiti fans know much about Bidre'Ce Azor?

He's a young forward in Italy with Sampdoria's Primavera (youth) team. Two weeks ago, because of an injury crisis, they brought him up to the first team roster for a Serie A game against Chievo. He didn't play in the game, but it's still a pretty impressive accomplishment.

    Anyone familiar with him?

We are all aware of his presence in Sampdoria; but language barrier and the fact that he's in the youth team, not the A team, make it hard for us to follow his progress in Italy. Can you give us the link(s) of articles/match reports that can help us follow him better? Thanks.

    I think he's also half-Morroccan.
In other words, a Haitian-Morroccan residing in Italy.

There is well over 25,000 Haitian-Morroccan in Haiti today. But I think he is full blood Afro-Haitian.

    Isn't a Haitian-Morroccan an afro-Haitian since Morroco is in Africa??? :D

This is weird. Moroccans, Lebanese, Algerians, Palestinians, and even East-Indians and Jews are called 'Syrians' in Haiti. They are all considered Haitians of Arab descent. However, everytimes one of them stands out, he's immediatly a Moroccan-Haitian! Ronald Agenor also had to live with that stigma throughout his brilliant career as a tennisman. Maybe we should all go back to our ggggggreat parents' roots to properly identify ourselves as Senegalese-Haitians, Malian-Haitians, Guinean-Haitians, Congolese-Haitians, Nigerian-Haitians, French-Haitians, Pole-Haitians, German-Haitians, Hispano-Haitians, Dominican-Haitians, American-invaders-Haitians etc. :)

    Azor is 100% Haitian.

    Wow, fantastic!

I'm glad I was able to help out!

I'll be cheering for the guy, as long as he doesn't score against the USA in the World Cup qualifiers! ;) :D
