Looks like Marcus gets a chance to bounce back from the thrashing on Wednesday.

HT. Scoreless, I believe--scoreboards are like 20 minutes behind at this point.

51 minutes in. According to the BBC text MH has had little to do. Reading has been caught offsides about 15 times so far, which seems to be about all that's happened of merit. MH is taking some nice kicks.

Switched my listening over to this. Still 0-0. About 11 with extra time left.

Davis tips a Cureton header over the bar. Seems that Reading has the upper hand at this point.

MH dodges one, shot comes off the woodwork.

Marcus with an easy save, shot didn't have much on it.

    About 6 plus stoppage left.

    Nope.

Both teams getting chances, but it seems more and more likely to be a scoreless draw.

Wimbledon score in injury time. 0-1, McAnuff on a low cross, one timed. Giveaway by Forster led to the goal.

So MH with three saves, little to do otherwise, though his fight leg should be getting tired from what seems like a thousand goal kicks. Throw out the cup, and he's unbeatable.

Not really. Teed up and stuck into the top corner. About Wimbledon's only shot faster than 8mph all day. Marcus was probably bored for most of the game. Reading dominated, but treated their fans to a "see how many times we can try crossing the ball without ever managing to get it past the first defender" masterclass. Take a bow John "ex-England" Salako.

Actually Marcus did make one good save in the second half. Apparently Wimbldon only had 78 paying fans (and a few more player's wives/family etc with free tickets) who went as wild as 78 people in a 4,500 seat away end can go, which isn't very much.
