    When it was reported Napoli wanted to loan him for a year without obligation to buy and Standard told them to fuck off, it was pretty much over from there.

    Hate to admit it but you're probably right. Someone mentioned earlier that it was bad of Standard too to want to hang onto him for the CL playoff against Ajax, though. Shitiness all around.

    F.uck Napoli if it's true they were using him to bargain. I hope they get relegated.

    I didn't even know that was possible but if not, Belgium is 5 years I think. So any way you look at it, the only way he's landing a better club is if they're willing to take on a foreign keeper.

    Iirc you are allowed to submit your paperwork a little before your 2 years are completed in Spain to expedite the process, which I thought it was reported Memo did.

    Start again. You have to be in that country for the required time continuously which he did complete in Spain (2 years.)
