Jorge Aparicio join NK SLAVEN BELUPO in the Croatian First Football League, the top league in the country. NK SLAVEN BELUPO finished 6th in the league last season. http://nk-slaven-belupo.hr/jorge-aparicio-novi-je-igrac-slaven-belupa/
Am really hoping this kid get some actual playing time and doesn't just live on the bench as many of our players abroad do.
Even if he doesn't make it, he should be commended for even trying. He's taking a paycut abd leaving his family behind. And we know our players seldom make those kind of sacrifices. On a sidenote, our defensive mildfileder position seems to be the one with biggest depth. There's Aparicio, Saravia & Brandon De Leon. And maybe even Dominguez if he performs for Antigua

Moises Hernandez is rumored to be close to signing with FC Dallas. He has been training there the past month since he left Cremas. https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/soccer/soccer/2018/07/29/fc-dallas-knocks-park-summer-window
Moises Hernandez has officially signed with FC Dallas. https://www.fcdallas.com/post/2018/07/31/fc-dallas-signs-defender-moises-hernandez
Let's hope he goes back to his old self soon, cause last semester he was one of the worst if not the worst player for Cremas. Couldn't even control the ball, it was sad.
Wilber Perez has been replaced in the call-up by Diego Ruiz (Club Deportivo Iztapa). Perez is signing with SC Gjilani in Kosovo's top league. The Kosovo SuperLeague is the lowest ranked league in Europe, this could be due to the fact that they were only admitted into UEFA two years ago. Not sure its a better move for him but maybe it will give him more exposure. https://www.guatemala.com/deportes/futbol-guatemalteco/wilber-perez-jugara-sc-gjilani-kosovo.html
There's a few, though most are in noncompetitive leagues like the USL (though tbf it's getting better). The ones that "stand out" though are Jerez in Colombia and Aparicio in Croatia (there's also 2 in spanish Canteras) Where's Les? Ese maje es el que sabe
Deja de vender humo vos, he gave the "assist to the assist" hahaha #LegionariosGT | Así participó Jorge Aparicio en la segunda anotación de su equipo, el cual empató 3-3 ante el Gorica en la segunda fecha de la liga croata. pic.twitter.com/2BG6JfNJ8D— Mynor Sandoval (@MynorSandoval08) August 4, 2018 On a sidenote, I still remember when he came to the scene and both Del Aguila & Galindo were rated above him (myself included). And yet he hasn't looked back since he scored the winning penalty en el TETRA. Mind you, I still don't know if he's better sitting in front of defence or playing as a b2b I'm pretty sure it's a terrible league, but being in europe could never hurt. The problem is he's too old and I'm not sure there's a lot of scouting from other leagues there to begin with
Nicholas Hagen is on trial at Pachuca! That would be huge for him if he got signed by them. https://www.foxsports.com.mx/news/3...a-ocupar-el-lugar-que-dejaria-el-conejo-perez
There isnt enough to make a list unfortunately. The only one that's playing in a decent league right now is Ricardo Jerez (Colombia). Hopefully that changes soon, since young players like Nicholas Hagen, John Mendez, Carlos Alvarado, and Jose Martinez are talented enough to play abroad.
Nicholas Hagen played his first game with KV Kortrijk of the Belgian First Division A league, a friendly versus French club Valenciennes FC. The final score was 1-1.
All IMO: Hagen coming up in the FC Dallas sub categories has a good idea of the work ethic that's required in these top leagues. He has the tools, and experience to be a good goalie abroad. Mendez is the kid with the raw talent, but like most players in our league, only train at that level (good technique but extremely slow paced soccer). He'll have to be willing to really put in the work and commit to using his opportunity abroad to learn better soccer, and more importantly, how to train at a higher standard. He's got his foot in the door, but it's going to be a tough go around for him.
