Nothing listed on the FC Dallas academy site. He's listed as a GK. Wasnt there another Guatemalan player that had been talked about on here? Midfielder I believe.

Talking about moving the UNCAF to the US.
Kind of defeats the whole purpose of it being a Central American tourney if it's on US soil. BUT it does make sense money wise since the only time you see fans is when the local team plays. These games would easily double if not triple fans from all the participating countries if they're held here.

It's official. Ruiz has gone back to Municipal.

 

It's been 12 years since he last played with the club. Ruiz scored 25 goals in 143 appearances with Municipal between 1996 and 2002. He scored his first career goal vs. Azucareros Cotzumalguapa in June 1996, Copa Gallo (old summer domestic cup tournament). His first league goal came against Comunicaciones on 26 April 1998 (1997-98 Tournament Final Stage, 8th round). His last goal with Municipal was scored 9 December 2001 vs. Xelajú MC (2001 Apertura).
