How did Adams become the national team coach? I was reading his wikipedia page and it doesn't even look like he has coached before it certainly doesn't look like he has much experience based on these games.
maybe...only if el salvador advances and hondouras doesn't collapse. Right now, guat has a small chance to advance in second (especially if they 5 and 6). At 4-0, if Jamaica beats Hondouras by 6, Hondouras will finish second and play CR.
Sorry, I meant to say advance in second (they're already advanced). If they're concerned with a remote chance at second, which they're probably not.
i told El Salvador to pack their marcus julien came in for facey and did more than facey did in this whole tournament. biggest problem with grenada is the coach! (they should have kept the coach that got them to the gold cup) then you start singling out certain players. sure we're missing 3 top players on the team but any preschool child could see the coaches tactics were laughable and his line up were a bigger joke. he benched cyrus after the first game but played useless facey in all three this was the first game that facey actually got subbed out and it happened with 5 minutes to go. he brought in marcus julien for facey and julien speed caused the Guatemalan defense problems and he rocketed a bullet off the bar. marcus julien was a track and field star in the 100 in high school before he got into football so he turns it on he's blowing by the defense. these were players that should have started in the first game to try and match Jamaicans speed but this useless coach only played him about 10 minutest for the whole tournament. ricky charles, Anthony modeste and facey shouldn't be anywhere near this team in the future. mike adams should be fired the moment he gets of the plane. the team is losing and this man is not showing any signs that he even cares. it seems like facey was running this team. he's getting into fights with his teammates in practice, screaming at his teammates during the game while only having 1 shot on target the whole tournament yet playing in all 3 games. if you're a forward on any team and you can only manage to get 1 shot on target in 3 games YOUR A BUM! football is not for you. i just hope the goalkeeper gets a contract somewhere because at 20 years of age he was cool like vet and proved he can make big saves. if he had a decent defense in front of him he probably would have been the 1 of the best goalkeepers in this tournament based off some of the saves he had to make.
no they played a very weak team. Guatemala's defense looked suspect and would probably get 6 goals from mexico. it easy to play a good game against defense nonexistent defense. i mean come on Honduras dropped 7 on that defense.
