Thibo was a monster in goal today, shades of Iker, I know he’s been keeping a lot of clean sheets lately but honestly I felt like that mostly down to the defense and that he was still a bit shaky at times, today however was all him, he was phenomenal And is the reason we walk away with 3 points.

I never liked the complete hate the guy got sometimes. Not that I liked Navas getting dumped, but it was a great deal at the time, and we needed to think of a long term solution at some point.
I'm glad he is playing so well. For us and for him.

Really happy for Thibaut finally hitting his stride. Just goes to show you how mentally strong he is. The pressure of playing for RM can literally kill careers, but he's back at his best.

Just read this, great news as well:

"AS remind us that Thibaut Courtois is currently the main contender for the Zamora Trophy thanks to his record this season so far. Our goalie has kept 9 clean sheets in 12 last games for Los Blancos now. Thibaut saved 26 out of the last 28 shots made by our opponents. He conceded only 2 goals in our last 9 games." https://tribuna.com/en/realmadrid/news/3540328/

    Amazing isn't it!

    Yes it is.

It may be a cherry picked stat that can be taken out of context to inflate a players value, but it is nevertheless a "top 5" list.

Surprised to see you here since you’re usually only around in the bad times to shit on the club.

So let me get this straight. Your complaint now is that a factual statistic about Courtois is somehow dismissing Iker and Keylor?

    Lol

More like complaining that an unreliable measurement is being used to catapulte Courtois into a top 5 place in the clubs history.

Nobody is catapulted anywhere, that's your interpretation of it.

Something changed after that sub at half time vs Brugge. He's a different player now, very clutch for us since then.

Credit to Zidane and the coaching staff for making that change and getting him in form.

When Reguilon met Courtois yesterday before the start of the match: "Giraffe, Girafe, how are you? I'm glad to see you again." [emoji23][emoji23]

He has to do better on set pieces and corners. He always doubts himself, coming out then finding himself in no mans land, trying to run back. He does it over and over

If Casemiro doesn’t play, Mendy MUST start. Never Marcelo in the starting 11 if Case isn’t there.
