Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] i have repeatedly named who these footballers are; so if you don't know who i'm referring to, at least you should find out for yourself or ask before jumping to the illogical conclusion that i'm making a generalisation - especially as the wording 'in question' would imply that i was referring to those under discussion, as the dictionary defines the phrase, 'in question': but for your sake, i'll name them again: Park Ji-sung, Ki Sung-yong, Lee Chung-yong. of course these are not the only ones, but they were clearly the ones that i've mentioned many times before. I didn't include Koo Ja-cheol, but since someone put words in my mouth in this thread, I am replying here - not trolling as you say. self-contradictory wouldn't you say? refer to the post where i mention all those same factors that you mention above, so where is the disagreement? this is a forum for discussion, speculation, opinion. i was giving my opinion based on observation, study and experience on several factors that influence conditioning, and none of what i said is 'unethical', as you say. to illustrate: when i observe the world of athletics, for instance, it is rather striking that all the finalists in the 100 meter run for the past few decades have had their ancestral origins in West Africa. this leads me to speculate that their superiority has a strong genetic element. it is far more reasonable to conclude than that it has to do solely with training. of course there are many other factors involved, but of the primary limiting factors, genetics is definitely one of them. you can find the studies on your own if you're interested. you want to educate me, but don't have any idea what conditioning is?
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Gu Ja Cheol features in Gag Concerts most popular segment at the moment LOL ILuvGu [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeK__EUZncA"]YouTube - ??? ??‏[/ame]
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] KJC to Magath: "I need to go to Vietnam in the middle of my break to play a worthless charity match for PJS in 30+ degree heat even though I need to rest." Magath to KJC: "Herr Koo, du bist KooKoo!?!?" (asked w/ a scary ) Thankfully, Magath has some sense and denied permission for KJC to attend this ridiculous charity match that PJS is dragging our KNT members to during their break.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] So... those rumors about Diego going to Liverpool...
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] It would be ridiculous if LCY was made to participate. KJC's situation is pretty similar. Come to think of it...isn't LCY in the lineup. SMFH...
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Eh, it's not like these guys are forced to participate, right? Maybe the whole - hyung asks me to jump, I say "how high" - thing is in effect? I'm sure most of the guys don't mind a nice vacation to Vietnam, on top of an extremely friendly charity match for PJS...
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Its a charity. Of course he's going to participate. I doubt he does anything but eat pho and go at a half jog for just the match.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] I actually forgot that these guys are back in Korea for their vacations, lol. For some reason I thought they'd be flying out from Germany and England! Korea to Vietnam isn't so bad I guess.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Magath still wasn't amused. The only appearance that Herr Koo is allowed to make is attending PJY's wedding today. Afterwards, he's resting up before returning to Germany for Magath's famous/infamous rigorous training. I can't wait to see Magath work his magic on KJC. I already like Magath's strict orders.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Is the no-appearances rule implemented on the entire team, or just KJC?
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] KJC. Magath/Wolfsburg also denied permission for him to play with the Olympic team. They really are worried about his fitness. He really needs to rest.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Wolfsburg is trying to get rid of Diego but... no buyers. They bought him for like 15$ mil and his poor performance this season isn't helping him get offloaded. It would be a huge + for KJC if Diego left. I really hope Diego leaves.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Well, at least it's a good sign that they're trying to keep KJC as fresh as possible, right? This should mean that they see him as an asset to the current squad...
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] I think they're definitely going to invest their time and energy in KJC for the long haul. Anyway, KJC is just the type of player that the strict, disciplinarian Magath likes - works hard, listens to instructions, and doesn't talk back or question his decisions (I guess he can't even if he wanted to until he learns to speak German )...
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Hmm a bunch of websites, when talking about Diego, say "imminent departure" or "is unlikely to play for VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga again having stormed out on his team before their crucial relegation battle" This is a good sign... but some club needs to buy him... If nobody does would Koo get to play over Diego?
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Don't worry. Your question is moot. He's going to get sold as long as Magath is in charge. It's still very early in the transfer window.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Admittedly I don't know much about his game, but is Diego even good enough for Chelsea?
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Yes. Btw, it looks like Grafite is going to get sold this week.
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] All of us were good enough for Chelsea by the time we were 3 yrs old
Re: Gu Ja-cheol @ VfL Wolfsburg 2010-2011 Part 2 [R] Well, I'm still good enough for Chelsea....as long as we are talking about playing the game on the xbox.
