    1-1 HT Egypt-Nigeria.

Emad Moteeb equalizes with a nice goal.

3-1 already. Egypt owns Africa, but for some reason cannot make it to the WC.

Looks like a psychological thing with them, they're playing nice football and dominating Nigeria completely today (almost a fourth right now).

scoreline was flattering considering Nigeria dominated in the first half, but fell apart once Mikel was taken off. This just shows the cluelessness of our coach, yet he left fat Yak on to stink up the place. In a way I'm glad of the result, I want that coach fired ASAP.

very very impressive display by Egypt...

Etuhu played well for Nigeria, Yakubu was completely anonymous

Yup FT 3-1 for Egypt. Even without Aboutraika and Amr Zaki Egypt can dominate Nigeria but they can't make it to the world cup for some reason?

No offense, but Mikel looked like he barely wanted to play today.

Agreed about Mikel. He was not even moving, probably thinking of his Chelsea millions.

they fell apart long before Mikel was subbed, Etuhu was the one doing the work in the midfield, Mikel has some nice passes but lost the ball far too often

Well... Egypt did not dominate, especially in the first half.

And Nigeria also played without their two best players: Odemwingie and Martins. God knows why they were on the bench...

I blame Amodu for the loss...

Egypt most definitely dominated the last 20 minutes.

The first half was very even, though.

I most definitely agree... that's why Amodu is shite. He made bad changes and never introduced the 2 best players on the team.

I hope so... else I would really have to doubt Amodu's intelligence.

Looking at the game it looked like Yakubu had a 40 degree temperature... he was hardly moving.

One thing about Nigeria with Odemwingie - they never give up. He is the most important player in the team, much more so than Abou Treika or Amr Zaki.

Portuguese speaking countries helping each other out Angolan ball boy and quick thinking by Mozambique makes it 2-2. Djidonou Benin GK is having a cracker two assist to Mozambique. Another highly entertaining game.

The keeper touched it to make it go out on that Tico Tico shot. Ref didn't notice...

Not a good day for GKs...

Nigeria were somewhat better in the first half but Egypt did pretty well in the second.

And Egypt weren't playing with three of their best players so....:(

But it was very funny to watch. :)
The match had roughly the same level as a Kreisliga match. :D
