What a sanctimonious hypocrite... @Sanchito Says is not a matter of patriotism, and how some fans are jerks, yet he insults Jonathan... 926479737295458304 is not a valid tweet id 926480460246667264 is not a valid tweet id 950580816060538880 is not a valid tweet id
Contrary to what many think, I have no problem with JoGo switching if that’s where his heart lies My biggest issue this whole time is with American fans who believe that dual nationals need to be coddled into remaining with the US program. That these players need to be treated nicer than everyone else, otherwise they’ll leave. I find that to be profoundly unhealthy. I strongly reject the thinking that “if only the US has done [fill in the blank], then he’d still be a US player.” JoGo left on his on accord. Not because of what US Soccer did or didn’t do. Most Americans disagree with that, and I am debating that Yes JoGo quit the US program. That’s the definition (like how I quit my old job). Many others have quit other programs to join the US. No issues with that. I just hate the internal blame game that follows. PS.. this is my general tone I thought about writing a satirical piece yesterday about the need for the next president of US Soccer to establish a Director of Dual National Groveling & Ass Kissing. The problem? I don’t think people would get that it’s a joke & probably would even think it’s a great idea— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) January 11, 2018
I hope that douche isn't in sales. Even when he's trying to play nice he comes off as a condescending prick.
I get that US fans are pissed at the news and that they lost the guy. I would be too if I were them. The thing that is BS is all the racist dog whistling and also their BS double standards. The fact they act like they haven't done things similar or that he should go to their stupid POV. Like I get pissed at a Jesse Gonzalez or William Yarborough going to the US but I'm not surprised since they are MEXICAN-AMERICANS, that they went to the US. Yet people are acting like it's some traitorous thing and not the only possibility of 2 countries. Like a Mexican American dude who is playing in Mexico is some huge traitor and american but a german dude whose never been to the US and can't speak english is a true american and that's cool because it's not Mexico.
I don’t have problems with Americans calling JoGo a quitter on US program I have a big problem calling him a traitor Big difference.
I find hilarious that they claim they developed him, it is a club who develops a player and all MLS teams passed on him, he owes them nothing.
Probably diddles little kids too based on that creeper looking profile pic That William douche comes off as a sanctimonious shithead
...until things go bad, then those "foreign guys" aren't American either (according to Zimmerman, Wambach and Donovan).
