I actually saw Garza at the mall here in Chula Vista....my kids were asleep in the car though so I didn't want to scream and wake them up :D Hope he lands somewhere AND gets playing time.

If he lands here, he should wind up being too expensive to sit.

this guy's gone from cornerstone of a very good TJ defense to loan city :(

On the other hand, he'd be part of a defense that, if everyone's healthy, also has Loyd (not yet 30) and Parkhurst, plus some decent depth. (Maybe they'll use Bloom at RB and move Loyd over, who knows...) A good CB or two and that's not a bad situation -- plus some nifty roster work. I would've thought they would keep Toia, but Garza and a top 10 pick instead seems like a decent result.

I read this at Atlante FC. Atlanta is a much better spot!! A very intriguing move, hope he and the team work out, and he'll be needed for sure.

Wonder if Tata tipped them off.

Would be awesome if it came to fruition. Our LB's suck for the most part and to get one playing in Copa Libertadores would be great.

it won't make him magically better, not faster nor more agile, especially given the injuries he's already undergone. still, would be great to see as a casual fan and i don't know of any players we've had at high levels in argentina...

Michael Hoyos is the first (and only) one that comes to mind.

congrats to him, he's been through a lot. sadly probably won't be the player he was projected as, but managed to land in a good spot in ATL. gotta imagine it's a premier landing spot in the league for players at this point
