Despite playing for the US on Wed, Garza went 90 for Xolos on Fri in a 1-1 draw with Chivas. On Chivas' goal, Garza tried to play Omar Bravo offside, but one of Xolos' center backs kept him on. Probably should've done a better job of staying close to him.

And the next piece of Garza news is that he's gone! To Atlas: Bienvenido @gmgarza24 a nuestro equipo!Llega a nuestro equipo en transferencia temporal procedente de @XolosOficial pic.twitter.com/8HAXNHLLCl— Atlas FC (@AtlasFC) June 11, 2015 According to Ives, it's a one-year loan deal: Boom, Greg Garza to Atlas. I’m told the move is a one-year loan deal. He replaces Edgar Castillo at left back (again). #USMNT— Ives Galarcep (@SoccerByIves) June 11, 2015
I don't think I like this... Any chance this means Joe Corona, or Requejo will take his spot, or are they not good enough?
Honestly this could be the best case scenario. Garza starting at Atlas, Castillo starting at Monterray, and Requejo starting at Tijuana. Three American starting LB's in Liga MX.
Hmm ... Gabe Farfan has gotten some time with Chiapas, and Michael Orozco and Ventura Alvarado are both versatile enough to play out wide. Would it be greedy to ask for seven?
Insanity!!!!!! It's actually called the Mercado de Piernas....or "Market of Legs". MLS deserves all the stick it gets for its weird rules, but Mexico's quirks are underrated.
no, it's just called a draft because "Regimen de transferencias" doesn't sound as cool, it is basically a transfer deadline day for the local market, the club owners just rent an hotel in Cancun, have some fun playing golf and shit and exchange players.
It's a mere formality, but Greg Garza will be cap-tied to the #usmnt tonight with the opening kickoff.— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) July 10, 2015

Nightmare for Garza in a 5-0 loss to Pumas... http://www.univision.com/deportes/liga-mx/highlights-atlas-at-pumas-unam-on-august-12-2015-video
Oh Garza. He's starting for Atlas in CopaMx tonight, game is 1-1. On the opposing goal, he was toasted twice on the dribble then failed to retreat defensively, thus allowing an opponent to score from a wide open header.
