So is American Football. That never stopped it from becoming the king of sports in the USA............
It's what makes it weird that we made travel soccer so expensive. Some of those clubs sell matching gear bags, it's really excessive. At a base level soccer should be a very affordable sport. We just started a pick up soccer culture really late in the game. Which is why I like the Atlanta story, do we know if other cities have seen success with pick up soccer? To elaborate, are children using them?
Sorry buddy but you are wrong it is huge in and around the Atlanta area and played as a Georgia High School sport. https://www.ghsa.net/lacrosse GHSA link Lacrosse is also played in Florida. FHSAA link https://www.fhsaa.org/sports/lacrosse
Yeah, but football equipment is typically supplied by the school, lacrosse equipment (at least where/when I grew up) usually has to be supplied by the player and his family
Lacrosse is the fastest growing High School sport in America: https://coachad.com/articles/lacrosse-remains-fastest-growing-high-school-sport-others-closing/ A bit older:https://www.connectsports.com/feature/lacrosse-rugby-top-fastest-growing-sports/
Yeah for sure, just talking about my own experiences, Im sure a lot of places play at different times, especially with as varied as the climates can be from zone to zone.
