GPS in soccer

    Internacional Porto Alegre
    Brazilian club Internacional (current leader of the Brazilian championship) has been using GPS to monitor some players during practice in order to collect data on the players weekly physical performance. The coach says it helps that they know when to slow a player down during the week if he has worked too hard in practise and may suffer in a game.
