I think the pitch for this show was "Imagine if 'Breaking Bad' was a comedy with three suburban moms". It's surprisingly enjoyable largely courtesy of the charm and chemistry between the three leads (Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman and Retta). They play three women who each find themselves in financial difficulties for their own specific reasons and who decide to rob the grocery store where one of them works. Only instead of their loot totaling in five figure as they expected, they end up finding out that the safe at the grocery store contained over 500000 dollars. Shortly thereafter they discover that this is because a drug gang is using the store as well as some other local businesses to launder money. Thus they are in way over their heads.
Okay, this show is getting increasingly silly, but in a way that is still endearing and entertaining. Also, the cast is terrifically likable.
