    Today:
6 PM EDT - Costa Rica vs. Cuba
8 PM EDT - Mexico vs. El Salvador

I'm expecting the Costa Ricans to run rampant and Mexico to win by two goals.

I dont know about the Costa Rica running rampant part but they should win.

El Salvador can get a point but it won't be easy. Mexico looks far superior on paper. Good thing the match is not played on paper...

    Costa Rica:

    -----------------Navas-----------------

    Salvatierra----Acosta----Marshall----Diaz

    Bolanos-----Mora-----Borges-----Oviedo

    -----------Urena-----Sabroio-----------

There's no point in posting Cuba's lineup since nobody knows anything about their players.

The Costa Rica game is Cuba's best chance to impress, since they might have fewer players available in the next two games.

What are the odds on how many Cuban players defect for this tournament.

Costa Rica goes up 1-0 early on Cuba. Urena the goal scorer.

Saborio nabs a second for Costa Rice in the 41', 2-0 Costa Rica.

Mexico's lineup, I think this is how they will line up.

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Hernandez, Dos Santos, Guardado, Torrado, Castro, Barrera, Salcido, Rodriguez, Moreno, Juarez, Ochoa[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

Cuba is getting slaughtered, as I expected when I said Costa Rica would run rampant.

I'm starting to feel sorry for the Cuban players now.

Costa Rica 4-0 three minutes into second half.

Costa Rica looking good. Granted it's only Cuba, but any time you look like you can score at will at this level is a good thing.

Ticos score 2 more in the first two minutes of the second half - Urena and Mora...

4-0 and time for the blow out comb.

Bizarre. Cuba's defense is playing extremely high, like it's a 0-4-4-2. So the ball is in the CR end most of the time, but every few minutes they get in behind the Cuban defense and really ought to have a couple more.

Here's El Salvador, I have no clue how they will line up:

Zelaya, Quintanilla, Alas, Flores, Alas, Hernandez, Garcia, Turcios, Gonzalez, Anaya, Montes

Yeah three of Costa Rica's goals have basically resulting from someone breaking the offside trap and latching onto a long ball.

Also, it seems like whenever La Volpe shows up on the big screen the Mexican fans start whistling.

Campbell is an unbeliavable prodigy...the next big thing for C.R...great goal and I believe he has a higher ceiling than Agudelo...kid will go to Europe if not this summer sometime in the next year...probably the best player in the U-20 qualification tournament in Guatemala this year...

watching that first game makes me cringe at the nasty challenges our guys are gonna get. Costa Rica-Cuba challenges will be cupcake in comparrison to what Panama is gonna throw down on us. I HATE playing Panama. I despise playing them and Guatemala more than i despise playing Mexico.

Indeed. Guatemala and Panama take "dirty" to a whole different level.

Torrado looks shaky. Mexico has had their chances.
