I think I have way more fun not watching the games and reading everything up on BSMX afterwards than watching the games themselves.. join me, people..
Osorio's biggest mistake keeps being his overrating the talent of his players. Gallardo's 2nd half was pure garbage and yet he probably though enough to turn it around to leave him off and not Elias (maybe because Elias wasn't having a good game or that he already has shown something) but it was bad move. I also think he got surprised in Jamaica really going for the 0-0 tie because it's something I've never seen as bad from them. Especially after their 2016 Copa America. That being said a lot of it was lack of quality from some players today. Huge step backwards for Orbelin IMO.
Sepulveda at least pressed a lot the whole game, helped the defense and at least can return a pinche pared, Cubo doesn't even do that and his touch is a thing of nightmares. The only explanation for him being so good in MLS has to be that the defenders allow him several meters of space to control the ball. To think that people even wanted him in Russia, 90 year old Peralta is better than him and Jimenez and Chicharo aren't even on the same galaxy.
lol @DGreat said some of these guys might be ready for the A squad.......ready to serve them breakfast and shine them shoes <_<
I see you guys had fun tonight. I think watching the first episode of The Leftovers and Little Witch Academia instead was a good idea.
I think you're right about the lack of quality. What scares me is that it looks proportional though. That points to a flaw in management. We're treading water here folks.
I can't say because I don't watch it thru Azteca but I heard thru twitter that Martinolli and Co were already saying something to do that effect in their "euro players are bad because we have beef" thing. What I had been hearing is a lot "he should have taken X or Y from this team to Russia instead of whoever went" with these players.
No he wasn't. He had a bad game and wouldn't be one of the worst because so many players looked worse but most of them don't have expectations he has.
I need to see orbelin with the main team....i still don't see what the hype is about. Gallito in form still>>>>>>
What saddens me is there is literally no upside to our summer right now. None of these guys have me like "damn had he been there things would have been different.".. If the talent pool is more or less what it is, I definitely think we need a new coach the defense is rough, and the team overall doesn't seem to have an idea.
don't be a hater overall this team is pretty weak but there is a few players who can make it. Orbelin Pizzaro Edson Alvarez Who osorio would take: Duenas molina Elias Ayala Who i hope has a break through this tournament: Montes Gutierrez I personally don't care much for the results, i want to see who is capable of making a push for next years final team.
I'd say it's pretty wide open... Costa Rica just tied friggin Canada and lost Campbell... they aren't exactly killing it.
Pizarro was not very good in the first half so his substitution was warranted, in my eyes. Orbelin had a good first half and a shitty last 20 minutes when he and Gallaro were switched to more comfortable positions, like everyone has been clamoring for. This team is a reflection of the fan base.
Everyone knows the Azteca crew is yellow journalism in action anyway On the plus side, four years ago we were looking abysmal and were actually in danger of getting eliminated. so that's an improvement
Well, that was a horrendous piece of shit... Worse game I've seen in my life... People began booing México at the 75th minute... I wanted to gouge my eyes out...
lmao...yes, it's because of us that he's playing with 4 CBs and 2 DMs to break a bunker. lol ridiculous. GTFO.
