If City lock up the title and we lock-up top four with 5 games or so left in the season then call back Timmy, AP and give them extended runs with the 1st along with Axel and McT

Both players are getting plenty of playing time.

I expect the likes of Fellaini, Darmian, Carrick to be gone. Mensah AP should get playing time for those.

We don’t have a hole at 10 at all. We have many players who can and do play there. I’m fine with him staying at Valencia. He will get PT to impress either Mourinho or whomever we sell him to.

I actually think he would be a good fit here, but only if we sold Mkhi and Fellaini and cut Zlatan. We would need to decide how we wanted to use him, but he would be useful.

Lingard is really the only viable solution I feel we have in the 10/playmaker spot (at this time). I guess there is Mata also, but he's an odd one for me because of his inconsistency. Mikhitaryen does not count anymore either, with his recent form.
That AP gets regular playing time with Valencia is all well and good, but when he clearly plays (and is doing well) at a position of need for us, on the right wing, it's frustrating nonetheless.
It would still be colossally stupid if we were to sell him in the summer: his versatility and ability to play/cover in so many different positions for us is something that should be taken advantage of. Still hoping he'll genuinely get his chance after making the most, once again, of his time on loan this season...

Mata has actually been really consistent. There’s Jesse, Mata, Zlatan and Mkhi who can all play 10 and the same goes for Pogba and Mkhi. We have plenty of numbers especially if we firm up the two areas of greatest need: RW and CM.

Zlatan: injured (and perhaps finished), Mkhitaryan has been shit and can't seem to be relied upon, Mata has simply not been consistent enough when called to play centrally at the 10. Pogba has actually played once or twice at that spot and the results were mixed at best (granted the sample size is small). So yeah, our estimation of our depth in that position differs greatly.
Putting that aside though, the original point is about AP and what he could bring to this team that is needed badly: and whether it's depth at CM, the playmaker position or playing on the right flank (once again, the position he's been used the most so far this season with Valencia), there is no doubt for me that he'd be of great help and should have been recalled.

Done deal for Wilson: he's joining Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season.

Mitchell and Tuanzebe need a loan deal ASAP. Kehinde as well and DJ Buffonge. Promote some of the u18's to the U23's since we have a lot of players coming in like Greenwood and others who can play in the U18's.

Hamilton/Garner should start getting involved with U23's. Burkhart Baars Traore Ercolani (who already gets involved) Gomes, Barlow, etc... We are out of the Youth FA Cup, giving these young players time in the U23's and having them play next year in the FA youth cup then you know we can make progress.

    That's already happening jeff.

No chance for Baars. Hes behind Chong. Fine at u18's. Let Traore settle.

It appears there is a possibility that Tuanzebe could be off to Villa for the remainder of the season. A Prem club would have been more desirable, but the Championship will do, if it means he gets a real chance to consistently play week in, week out.

Also, Arnau Puigmal is the latest Academy player to have signed his first contract with the club, following in the footsteps of Gomes and Traore who have recently put on to paper on their first pro contract as well.

TFM played at right-back for Palace today for full 90, only seen the highlights but some excellent pace and excellent crosses for Sakho.

He does seem a good fit to replace Valencia with his pace and engine. I am not sure if he is better there than DM because he needs to work on his 1v1 and the not getting caught upfield

Jose does seem to value AP, but when he comes back this summer, he will have to prove it with an actual look in and opportunities, not just in preseason, but once the actual season gets under way as well. He deserves as much, following the 2 successful loan stints he's put in.
Failure to do so could result in United losing him permanently. That will be completely on him and something many fans will not appreciate.
