I'm fully aware of that fact but it still does not change the fact that Harrop is not the same player as Herrera in my opinion.
That is cute semantics or some clever play on words at best. The bottom line remains that Harrop is not the same player as Herrera, nor "does he closely resembles him" either... I don't think anyone for instance would make the claim that Scholes and Herrera are similar, even though they shared some positions on the pitch at times.
A look at Zak Dearnley, another youth player who could be in line for a start vs Palace. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-zachary-dearnley-wiki-13052695
Ability to hold on the ball under pressure, passing, pressuring, ability to drive from midfield and having a decent shot on them. Obviously Harrop is smaller compared to Herrera.
If anyone has MUTV, I recommend you check it out right now. (10:48 pacific time) They're running a fantastic video of the players reaching out to disabled kids.
Since he's been name checked by Jose for this weekend, here's a look at Josh Harrop. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-utd-josh-harrop-wiki-13040664
Not worried about Mitchell from an offensive standpoint. Pretty sure he is going to be very effective in that department. More curious to see how he handles Prem level defending: he'll get as difficult a test as he can get though with Zaha. If he can contain him, that would be a great sign.
16 year old from Espanyol joining us. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...al-espnayol-wonderkid-who-is-he-a7744461.html
www.bbc.com/sport/football/39977570 Jose may have a point, but there's time and place for the "brutal honesty". Don't imagine that kids hearing they're not ready will be a boost in confidence when they're about to get called upon (some in their first senior game).
Spain score a corner with the last kick of the ball and equalize. 2-2. Going to PK's. I get to see this new ABBA pk system.
Pereira scored today for Granada. As all the young players currently at the club get all the attention, if there is one we can not forget about (especially going into the summer and for next season), it's AP.
He's had a great loan. Granada were awful this year but he was their lone bright spot. Hopefully Jose plans to use him next year in the first team and I mean actually use him unlike TFM.
That is my hope as well. He's shown he can handle playing at a high level on a regular basis. The Prem is different than La Liga, granted, but he looks ready to contribute on some level and continue his development back in England at United.
That goal was crap though, regardless as you said he needs to be included next year as part of our plans.
But a howler by the keeper. Absolutely bring Andreas back to the first team. After we beat Ajax next week it will be hands on deck next across all competitions. He'll get plenty of games.
Sure, it might have been a "crap" goal but it still counts as his, at the end of the day. Looks like he's already making provisions to come back to Manchester. Think he plans on working hs butt off after a short break, in a bid to impress Jose in preseason. I pray he doesn't mess it up as AP could really add a unique dimension to the team and provide some serious quality in depth. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/manchester-united-andreas-pereira-transfer-13065378
