What are the odds of Lopetegui being a yes-man to Floro so he can keep his job?

Ancelotti tried to have a voice and got sacked. ZZ just had enough credit to do whatever he wanted and that's something Lopetegui simply doesn't have. Just like Benitez didn't.

This will give Bale a huge chance of being a starter regardless of form.

Or has Florentino learned from his mistakes? We have won 3 CLs spending so little... I hope this fact has some effect over Florentino's hunger for commercial success.

Bale's case is really complicated. I sincerely don't know what I'd do.

    It's pretty clear to me.

You sell the pacey winger with constant injury issues who is nearing 30 (29??) at his highest value.

Nothing to discuss here really. Bale has proven to be a player of the highest quality here, but he has also proven to be totally unreliable.

Have a sneaky suspision Flo will make sure Bale stays because Flo is smart. Yes he is injured 50% of the season but he is still worth more to the club than whatever money they would get selling him to the Prem. Like it or loathe it Bale has been a key component in the champions league success and you dont dismantle a winning formula. This is business basics

I hope things start moving with Bale soon. He is a fantastic player and part of me still wants him. Mainly he should go due to his injuries, but to be honest he has a few personality traits that just don’t sit well with me. The fact that he said nothing of Zizou’s departure, and sent no well wishes was in poor form.

What worries me is that Bale only thrive in counter attacking football, not Lope’s possession football.

His skillset with possession football is subpar.

The dragon just won us a champions league. He has shown what he got. Only if he can get rid of those frustrating injuries.

Comments like these always make me wonder, it seems the CL consists of just one off games now, what a waste of time it was to have players like Godric, Ronaldo, Kroos, Casemiro, Isco, Navas and on and on, forget them, and as far as the CL goes no need to worry about Ronaldo leaving the team then.

Who would’ve thought Bale would stay and Cristiano will go. lol.

I really hope we move him to the left now. Buy a right sided attacking player but I think we’ll get Hazard and keep him on the right.

I'm saying Bale has already shown what he got. His qualities are clear. It's only a matter of him being healthy.

Are we really going back to this delusinoal bale crap again jesus. So bale is going to play more often now and by some mircale stay injury free? Its never going to happen hes had a million chances already . Also hes goal record in CL is quite poor actually as good as hes final performance was .

I don't care about champions league. We have already dominated it.

We need to win Laliga for some years.

I think now that Ronaldo is gone, we can use Bale as a free roaming forward starting on the right. He looked really good for us in that role in Zizous first mini-season.

That is not true. He had that role under Benitez. Zidane put him on the right wing again, with the focus on Ronaldo. Benitez gave Bale all the space he wanted.

If he stays, give him a role that maximizes his abilities and let him loose...up until he gets injured again.:notworthy:
