i said it already .. your arguments about 4cl vs 1cl are caca.
We have gone through this Robben vs Bale debate too many times to rehash what has already been said.

So your argument is we've done horrible in the past 5 years. With a CL trophy in all but one of them.

Miss me with that bullshit. Some people don't deserve to see glory like that when it's brushed aside 3 months later.

You are the only person in here and that I know who uses the amount of CL thropies won to assess the quality of a player.

The only reason why, to me, someone would do that is because their lack of understanding of the sport and not knowing what else to say.

I can’t believe there are people who think the Bale signing was a bad one on the whole.

And I say that as someone who was fervently against it at the time and was very upset about Oezil being sold.

Yeah but we never needed him.

He is like for like almost the exact same player as Robben (even down to injuries and hair loss). If we have just kept Robben, we're looking at trebles and maybe a couple of more CL in there going back to 09/10.

Truth is we could have done even better without Bale.

    That's a bit silly now, isn't it?

Robben was replaced by Ronaldo and never really made any difference for the club. To be honest, Robben has been a succes at Bayern, because (i) the expectations at Bayern - even though they are high - are lower than Real Madrid, (ii) the German league is a Mickey Mouse league compared to La Liga and (iii) (in connection with point (ii)) Robben's injuries have not had a huge impact on Bayern because Bayern has always had superb squad depth and they'd therefore mostly win anyway. If Robben would have the exact same statistics and the exact same injury record (he's had at Bayern), he'd be just like Bale, a decent signing (but a disappointment nonetheless).

Just for the record: a player like Robinho was (much) better than Robben for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo replaced Robinho (Robinho left specifically because of 5he clubs interest in Ronaldo).

Either way, Batman needs a Robin and we literally had a Robben and a Robinho.

To be honest, my point was clear. Robben would be considered a disappointment here, if he had the exact same stats and injury record. Simple!

People have a lot of rose-tinted glasses with Robben. He had some screamers and fantastic dribbles, but he was usually a black hole on the right when he would get the ball.

Just The fact that he can dribble past defenders makes him better than bale

With Bale out, surely Vinicius will start today. Solari?

Nah, he'll simply slot (our forgotten starlet) Asensio there to give a wingplay masterclass!

'Would be even better if he wouldn't fall on his face right after every one of those dribbles.

Apparently Bale was out of the stadium and in his car with 12 minutes to spare in the game.

I wonder why Bale would want to avoid the crowds after a loss.

Some of the players deserve it. This is not PSG, Man City or United. This is Real Madrid. You get paid well, so you must show it.
They would do the same in Italy too I seen it before.
