That's bs, he's been there just a year and just a few games with the nt, not nearly big enough a sample size to make that claim. I don't see how he's lost his effectiveness. He had a great year with the Galaxy, and his appearances or lack there of with the nt was fmf politics, not his poor form. He's only had a few reps with JCO, much less than the other regulars (who also haven't looked great under osorio) and he's been far from terrible to say the MLS shows, cmon no mames, theres better ways to make a point. Questioning Gio seems silly imo. Comparing him to others seems silly also. Mexico isn't very deep, there's still room for all of them to be included and considered.
man Gio went from future world star to the new Nery Castillo with his fans posting the same goal over and over again, he is truly our own Freddy Adu.

I'm starting to think it's not Gio's lack of ambition that led to his move to LA, but his injuries. All that money, while being injury prone is irresistible.
lol mmls. Van Damme got 2 yellows for 2 fouls where there was zero contact. in the second one the portland player injured his shoulder while flopping. You have to feel like a dumbass if you injure yourself while trying to flop. Gio is captain now. btw

Onalfo is a terrible manager. He had one of the worst records in MLS history with D.C. United with only 3 wins, 12 losses, and 3 ties in the 2010 season. For this season, he lost two in a row at home. They've 3 points out of a possible 12... He won't last for long...
Gio played the 90 minutes in a 2–0 win over Montreal impact. Neither Mendiola nor the other Mexican played.
