the long ass vacations is probably one of the reasons why he choose to move to MLS specially now that the media pushed him back to the NT.

We dont need Giovani on the NT, he hasn't done anything exceptional for the team since copa oro 2010 or whatever, why would he ask for a loan when he can stay in L.A and bang Hollywood Broads every weekend,he knows he'll get called up to the NT because of "Jerarquia".

I'd say that goal versus Holland was pretty exceptional.

doubt he cares, maybe if he was ousted by Osorio like at the begining of his tenure Gio would be in the CWC with the wilas right now.

Gio's good enough for the bench/rotation for the smaller games.

Not a good comparison at all. No sean mamones.

Although IMO Gio shouldn't be starter.

He has a place, a definite starter, perhaps not, but a place in the 23. To say he doesn't, means you don't know shit

I think we have more than enough players that can do what current Gio can do and more, Corona/Damm/Lozano/Aquino to name a few, you cant seriously tell me that gio deserves to start over any of these 4, if you do you're out of your mind, I stand by what I said before we dont need Gio ATM.

I don't care if Gio plays for his neighborhood soccer league for his club career, Gio is Gio. He is still useful in the 23.

Really didn't do much against the US and Panama, as long as his FIFA card rating is high we cool. [emoji102]

He was good vs Italy and Brazil in 2013, had a good WC in 2014 and was a good player in la liga. He was one of our better players at times after 2010

People are literally still upset at his bad form during the 2013 Hexagonal and his decision to play in MLS, let it the fvck go already.

50% is fail, Corona and Lozano I'll give you, the other 2, try again. Again, I didn't say gio is a definite starter.

Corona and Gio are very similar players in terms of quality when at their best. Damm and Lozano are youngsters with a ton of speed but don't have the technique of either Corona or Gio. Great as subs when we need speed but I wouldn't hand them starting spots just yet. Aquino couldn't cut it at Villareal when Gio was proving to be their star attacker. He had to step down to Liga MX quality to get on the radar again.

Chuky will eventually get to the level of Tecatito soon enough. Damm will not, at least not from what I've seen.

90% is a Win, didn't you see aquino and damm throughout the liguilla? they are having better performances on a better league and can play the same position gio has been playing for the NT, the reason i say 90% is because i havent seen damm play at lw in a while but he couldnt do any worse than Giovanni has done, he had a good copa oro like 4 years ago and a good game against Netherlands in the WC, those are the only arguments and examples people use to justify his call ups, te hace una buena jugada en los primeros 10 minutos y desaparece los 80 restantes, im not saying he should never be taking into consideration for future call ups, but at this moment in time the NT doesn't need him period.

Aquino is not a great player. He was given multiple chances to prove himself on higher levels both in La Liga and with the NT and never stepped up. Liga MX is not the standard we should be measuring our players against.

Yeah, Gio chased the money, but at least he proved himself to be an international level player by succeeding in La Liga and having great moments with the NT. I don't watch the MLS but based on his highlights he still has the touch and technique that Aquino will never have.

That's not what im saying, all I am saying is there's other players in better form at this time available for the nt.

I wouldn't call his time in La Liga a "success" he did well (a secas). And where is this mythical, majestic, double rainbow, succulent touch that makes a non believer believe again cause I sure as hell haven't seen it.

    PS. Happy New Year.
