A profile: Phillips, a native of Wisconsin, is the child of an English father and a Nigerian mother. At age 3, he traveled to England, where he lived until he was 13. He then returned to the United States and spent his high school years in Barrington, IL. During that time, he played for clubs FCX form Barrington and the ELA academy in Lake Zurich.
