    Thank you very much, Madmartigen.

    This season is difficult to promote because we start only with 2 points in the first 7 games. Now we have another coach and we have 29 points in 22 games (The season has 42)

    Sorry to hear about the poor start, but at least you should avoid getting relegated. The new coach is doing a pretty well at least. 20 points in 15 games is not bad. Thank you very much for the link, I couldn't track the Liga Adelante on any of the sites I scanned. I will be sure to hope they can make it next season, then. I wish my Spanish was better so I could read the website better. Good Luck against Las Palmas Sunday.

    So I don't get in trouble with the moderators, I'll try to bring this post back to topic. Got any other players you want to send to Austin? ;) We don't have to take only your beloved players! I'm excited to see Gifton at our second tryout this weekend.

    Sorry, we have not 20 points. We have 27 points in 15 games, and 2 points in the first 7 games = 29 points in 22 games.

    The 3rd classificated, the hateful Hércules of Alicante has 36 points. First, second and third classificated promove to 'La Liga'. In spanish football there is not play-offs.

    I don't know if any or several of our players wants to go to Austin, I think you should make them an economic offer ;) ?

    One Question: Here in Spain we know about sports events by internet through this web: www.rojadirecta.com

    We want to watch Aztex's games by internet. Is there any web similar in the USA for watching sports events?

    Have a nice day. ENJOY GIFTON, THE PROPHET.

    El canal del fútbol del Fox en los E.E.U.U. difundirá 5 juegos de Aztex:

    Fri., May 8, 7:00pm - Puerto Rico Islanders
    Fri., June 5, 7:00pm - Charleston Battery
    Fri., June 12 at Puerto Rico Islanders
    Fri., July 3 at Cleveland City Stars
    Sun., Aug. 23 at Montreal Impact

    El resto de los juegos, nosotros creen, sean difusión en www.usllive.com. Costó el año pasado el euro 16 para suscribir a ese sitio para la estación.

    Do you think Aztex has chance to win the championship ?

    Let me just say that the U23 team last year won their division with 3 games left to play (if I remember correctly) won their first playoff game and lost the next one mainly because of bad officiating (my opinion, of coarse.)

    All of that was done with a brand new team and coach that was started in a few months. I think the owners, managers and team would be disappointed with anything less than a championship. That is not to say we will win it, but I have the impression that it will be the goal to win the league every year, no matter what. I am excited with the players I have seen and the players that they have signed so far, like Gifton. I can't wait to see what Adrian Heath can do this year.

    Can we win? I think it is possible and we will try.

    Viva la elche. Me ablo un chico espanol. But maybe someday, like the Gift, i'll speak it muy buenas.

    Well here's a little collection of youtube videos featuring the man at his best for Burnley, Real Murcia, and Elche.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryIPLgQp3XU&feature=related"]YouTube - Burnley -v- Barnsley[/ame]

    notice that when the second score is netted for barnsley one of the Burnley fans has quiet an entertaining reaction, around :43 seconds. THis is where he gets his hattrick, and every single goal has a touch of divine providence.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VwCvGc2mhM&feature=related"]YouTube - Real Murcia - Lorca GOLES[/ame]

    an amazing goal off a beautiful set peice, and even though he appears to be quiet contorted I can't help but suspect that he saw that all the way.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IndjK1xPbM&feature=related"]YouTube - Hercules-Elche-13-01-2008[/ame][ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O_vyXjRgQg"][/ame]

    and finally the goal that made his church, and his religion, become a reality.

    Lads, this is who's arriving this week.

    Muchas gracias, Alejo

    (I'm writing so that improve your spanish)

    Nos ha emocionado mucho recordar el gol que nos llevó a la creación de la Iglesia y la Religión Noeliana. Esperamos que Gifton pueda marcar goles como ese, y que en Austin también haya gente que se convierta al Noelismo.

    Anothers questions:

    What about the tryouts last weekend? Did Noel go?

    How much money will earn Noel in Aztex?

    No. I believed that he'll be coming in this week once he gets his visa.

    I'm not use how much he will earn, but I imagine a lot for a franchise player.

    Gifton wasn't at the tryouts, however we did find out that he's arriving into town this Sunday. We're looking at possibly sending a group to welcome him at the airport. As far as the contract value, that's not as typical in the US in soccer. In fact, I believe the USL even has a prohibition against publicly stating the value of the contracts.

    Just a note that there are a few of us who will be gathering at the statue of Barbara Jordan by the baggage claim at ABIA tomorrow about 3:45 p.m. to meet Gifton's flight. His flight is scheduled to arrive at 3:55, so come on down and help us welcome Gifton to Austin and the Aztex.
