scored his 4th of the season as his team as still 2-1 behind. His team are also unlikely at this stage to make any promotion to 2BL.

what kind of wages could he be earning in the 3 BL? I'm curious whether he might try MLS since his club won't be promoted.

I hope he does. Level of play would be better given the foreign improvements made this year.

Although not as tragic, his situation feels a lot like Charlie Davies.

i'm sure he would be a better wide mid right now for USMNT than either jordan morris or zardes (the starters from the jan camp game).

I would call him up for the march game.

We discussed this a few pages ago....IMO he would have to be making 150+ in MLS to compare to the standard of living that he has in 3Liga. He might only be making around 80K Euro but clubs offer a lot more in Europe like housing, cars, local endorsements, food etc.

Although you pay higher taxes you don't have to pay into health benefits.

Will he get a look at a BII team? Union Berlin would be really cool.

    you would think he could.

but if he cant get on to at least a second div euro team, he should try coming back to MLS....

Again why? He is making good money at B3 which I doubt he could match in MLS (I am talking total compensation not just listed salary).

So he could get in the national team picture. Clearly he is better than most if not all of our winger options, but because he plays in the 3rd division, even though it is probably better than MLS, he will never get called in.

Why do you doubt that? There are many assumptions here about what B III provides in extra benefits and what MLS does not, but MLS could at least double his salary if he attracts an offer. I’d rather make 175K with the choice to spend it how I please than 75K and dependent on my club for many essential life needs.

It also gives him a platform to get back with the national team.

Technically the 3rd division of the BL is probably better than MLS, but overall no.

I do think he’s better off coming to MLS though.

I always find it so weird that clubs in lower divisions in Europe can really give players cars or housing. I can understand for a PL club, but can his 3rd division club really offer these benefits?

But you are assuming he can command more than 125K in MLS, I don't know if he can. He is making ~75E which is about 90K. He doesn't pay into medical insurance cause he pays higher taxes, he probably only pays for meals on 2 days a week, he might not get a car/housing but he more than likely does.

Now if he can make more than 150K then yes he should move back but anything less and I would just stay.

This is all moot though as I think he will get a chance at B2 next year.

First, ALL wingers would include Pulisic. Second, I can think of a number of other wingers (or players who could play on the wing) that are better. Amon and Saieff are two obvious choices.

Not really sure, I recall Lletget started on about 100K a few years ago but I think MLS salaries have generally moved upward since then. Lletget's making 250K now (maybe he got a raise).

But why would he only pay for meals 2 days a week? You think the club buys him three square meals on working days? And the "might" get a car and housing is a pretty important conditional. In any event I just hope he moves somewhere.
