Future? They already own everything, we're all just working to finance the interest payment on the debt owed to the Chinese Central Bank.

God, that place looks like a Shittehole! ;) Couldn't he have chosen a more scenic place to spend his club career?

It still isn't as good as the view that Caleb Stanko had last year at FC Vaduz

And with 10-15 people in the stands, it remains relaxing and unpolluted.

Looks like the same place. But yeah, point taken. There are worse places to be plying one's trade!

Joe gets into TOTW, it would be simply incredible if he can get back to top level after the terrible injury issues he has, hoping for the best.

Its actually pretty great that he is still able to play at this level and make solid money. Anything else is icing on the cake IMO

i know he's in the "wilderness" right now...but just looking at these clips...he still has "it"...he's exploding past players....and beating them with athleticism.....and if it's between a player like zardes bedoya pontius or rowe etc....i'd rather see gyau out there for the usmnt at wide mid.

at the very least just given another shot with the team....whether he's playing 3 liga or wherever....

If he kills it this year he will get to 2 Bund and then we can talk about how he performs at that level before talking USMNT again.

It's already a great story of perseverance on his part. Exploding past defenders in Liga 3 doesn't, however, mean he's ready for international duty.

im just saying...pontius arriola bedoya zardes....not exactly murderers row.....

gyau got injured on the usmnt....he played very well in his limited showings before the 2 year injury....if it was up to me....i'd let him jump back onto the team now that he is clearly healthy again and see where he's at considering he's not exactly an unknown entity.....if he hadnt already shown well with the team it would be different....but i think he "deserves" special treatment considering all he's been through and the overall weakness at his position.

besides if players like wood (who wasnt playing at all in 2 bund and about to quit pro soccer), green (who hadnt played at all in pro soccer above 4th liga), ibarra (nasl player), jordan morris (ncaa player) can get callups and ultimately make some of those callups look like wise moves....a player like gyau (who has actually played for bvb hoffenheim and the usmnt) isnt a crazy callup, imo.

what is there to lose? if he comes in and is out of his depth oh well...its not like it will set the team back in any way.....wide mid is a weak spot regardless.

but if he comes in and plays well...it helps him and helps the team....he was on the verge of becoming a very important part of the team in 2014-15.....and waiting for 2019 to give him a shot to get back to where he was at doesnt make any sense to me....i guess i just have more loyalty than most......

After this season (assuming he plays well and doesn't have any setbacks) he will probably consider a move up.

He's going to be running right pass guys at this level once he gets in a full groove based on the clips above.
