Mods should punish posters who continuously bring up MLS out of context.

Yeah they should but they don't really have the time. We do have the option to report posts though...

Played 80' in their 3-1 victory. Another Yank, Mario Rodriguez, played the last 20.

Yelldell didn't even make the bench.

Watching the above highlights was a pleasant surprise. It seems like he's still got a good burst.

My question is whether or not there's a realistic path back to a high level from the 3rd Bundesliga. Does anyone know of examples of players who dropped this low and made it back to being successful 1st Bundesliga players?

I can't say I do, but promotion to B II and then performing well should help.

Joe had to be replaced in the minute 28th due to injury. No details yet.

PS: Doesn't seem to be serious, he had also got an early yellow so hopefully that's the main reason he was pulled.

Doesn't look like they're getting promoted, they've descended to mid-table.

In ninth place, which is five points behind Joe Enochs' Osnabruck in the play-off place, and seven points behind second. In the lower divisions, a team can go on a run of victories - play 9, win 5, draw 3 - and be out of automatic promotion on goal difference only.
It tends to be confined to the play-off places, and is easier in England where four teams qualify for the play-offs.
I'm not saying it will happen - their record is 3 wins and 2 draws in the last 9, so it's unlikely - but if they get their injured players back and firing on all cylinders it could happen.

With Yelldell & Mario Rodriguez benched, Gyau's the last American left in Sonnenhof who still gets play time.

They won 2-1, thanks to two PKs. Gyau was replaced near the end.
