Actually yes - the new version is mostly complete - we're just testing...we'll let you know when it's ready but it won't be long. Get excited.

Addition of forums will be a terrible day for my employer.

 

I just downloaded the app after I saw the mobile phone version. Will there be a "My bigsoccer" button available on either version? Kinda defeats the purpose in a lot of ways to have the log in feature if you still have to fish through all those threads that you don't care about. I like the mobile version...its a lot faster than trying to navigate through the regualr site, a My Bigsoccer link would be ideal, that way I can keep up more efficiently with my subscribed threads.

Same here. I extremly dislike the iPhone version but can't find a way to revert to normal view. They layout isn't very functional and it is cumbersome to navigate. I don't know why but this is actually making me mad.

 

I'm still not sure if I like it, yet.

One thing I noticed, I don't get notifications for new visitor messages.

 

if you are gonna force us to use the iphone version
at least have a "my bigsoccer" link somewhere there and a "go to last unread post"

damn, its so sloppy, i want my normal version back!

Please:

1. Add my BigSoccer
2. Add a better way to get to forums. If I want to read Yanks Abroad, it takes forever to scroll down. A jump box at the top would be easy.
3. Add last post button.
4. Add last poster info.
5. Add option to use full site.

As it is, the forced mobile page keeps me off the site on my iPhone.

I mean, it really is awful.

 

The forums will be added to the next app release. Will you use that for the forums?

 

Depends on the quality of the app. If it resembles the mobile version of the site, then I simply won't use bigsoccer on my iPhone.

I hope the the iPad doesn't register a mobile device (although I bet it will). Because if I can't use BS on my iPad or phone, then I probably won't use BS at all.

The mobile version sucks. You need to have an opt-out.

 

We're aware of this and I've been reading all the feedback we've been getting about the mobile version. I'm seeing if we can bring you back the mobile version that was being used before.

 

Add 'Go to First Unread Post' in a particular thread....

How do you get to FC Bayern Munich forum, or other similar? Can't access it through Clubs....
