    So Flamengo it is...

Great Marketing move by Adidas. Germany just won another 40 million fans during the World Cup.

No. Adidas should quit screwing around with this marketing crap and focus on making good, aesthetically-pleasing, Germany-themed jerseys. Don't like either jersey design.

Adidas is definitely shitting the bed this WC cycle. Germany, Argentina, Spain ditching their traditional look for "modernity." Mexico looking like a Power Ranger. Whatever, just fire all the designers in that soccer dept.

Well, another reason not to like it, then. If I needed more reasons to cheer AGAINST Germany. :D

Germany got 40 millions fans, but 160 millions haters. Right, @Mengão86?

Cheer against Germany? You'll have to tell me that story later.

Brilliant choice. Not only will that jersey bring luck, but in the event of a disaster, you;ll have 40 million strong as long as you wear that kit. :D

The away kits are horrendous. The DFB should do us a favor and swap the home/away shorts

I don't think they're that bad, when the players wear them in longsleeve in a friendly soon I think it will look okay. I like the neck/collar design. I just think it would be frustrating if there were new Germany jerseys every year like Spain, Argentina, Brazil, USA, etc. have been doing lately.

Brazil changes every two years since the 90's. I always thought it was the rule for everybody.

You may be correct about the supposed rule you mention, but I stand by my post. Brazil has released with Nike, since WC 2010, a 2010, 11, 12, 13, WC 14 home jersey. And away blue version to go with it. And this is not counting special/no logo Olympic version. Spain and adidas have done quite similar since 2008...My guess for all this is to make profit off release of replica/authentic jersey sales.

It just hit me. Germany got the wrong Brazilian team. Instead of Flamengo's Black, Red and White, they should have followed Sport's Black, Red and Gold:

I think the combination is better with Gold.

The black Tops are ugly & white shorts are weak. Please return to Classics. Thank you

Anybody know if there is a place to get the kit with 4 stars and that fancy world cup winners badge in the middle (preferably printed name/number too)?

Google it. I already found a few places but I'm on an iPad so I cannot provide a link.

I'm in Germany right now so hoping they'll have plenty in stock when I go up to Berlin on Friday. Want to at least get two of them. Götze will definitely go on one of the jerseys even though I already have his Germany jersey for this year and on pretty much every other jersey. Guessing they don't have the away one though :(

I think you're a master of google-fu because I'm struggling. Anyway the dfb fanshop is down and adidas's website is struggling too. All the other places aren't very clear on the exact details of the shirt as far as I can tell. I guess I can wait for the demand to die down a little bit.

But they didn't wear the away one in the final :p But I guess I want to get Khedira on it so that's not a good argument. The away one does look sharp.

The thing is I have one long sleeve home, one short sleeve home, and one away jersey. If I get two more jerseys, would be better to get one of each color.

    From the DFB's twitter account.

New 'four-star' Germany shirt sells out hours after win
A new German football shirt with four stars has sold out within hours of the team's fourth World Cup triumph.

Adidas' website said the shirt, costing 84.95 euros (£62), was currently not available.

If I am not mistaken - and I could be - the new German shirts with the 4th star will be available in the States later this week. Again, I believe I saw that somewhere yesterday.
