    Okay :)
    Try three then
    ------------------Ter Stegen--------------------
    Kimmich--- Rudiger ---Mustafi--Hector
    ----------------------------CAN---------------
    ---------Goretzka-----------------------------
    Brandt-----------Draxler--------------Sane
    -------------------Werner----------------------

Anyway maybe there is some one better the Goretzka , but still think the players I selected should be in the starting 11..

if you look at the midfield of this team, I don't think there is better than Goretzka, there is no point in putting him in AM when other players can play there and where we lack in CM.

these are the main position of these players.
    Demirbay-AM
    Goretzka-CM
    Can-DM
    Demme-DM
    Rudy-DM

while Brandt, Sane, Draxler, Stindl, Younes are more wings or secondary strikers or AM.

so given that Goretzka is basically the only one who's main position is CM, why not play him there.

what line up are you referring to? The one on top of the page that you wrote or another?
and you want the position of the players? Or of the whole team?

    in this lineup
    ---------------Ter Stegen---------------
    ------------Rudiger - Mustafi----------
    Kimmich--------------------------Hector
    -------------------CAN (DM)---------------------
    -------Goretzka (CM)------Draxler (AM)-----------
    Brandt (RW)------------------------------Sane (LW)
    -----------------Werner (CF)-------------------

although I think in this lineup Draxler should behind Werner. And you can easily put Goretzka and Can next to each other. Just like when Low puts Khedira and Kroos together in the midfield. Where Khedira plays more of a DM while Kroos was more of a CM.

lineup would have been easier if Weigl wasn't injured.:(

    drums, drums.....

this won't make a lot of people happy on this forum.
After Low has established Kimmich as a RB, it seems like CA at Bayern also wants him at RB.

"As well as placing a burden of responsibility on the likes of Neuer, Muller and Alaba, one player who has been tipped to step up is Kimmich.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Bundesliga giants from Stuttgart in 2015, has scored five goals in 24 league appearances this season.

"As a right back the natural substitute [to Lahm] is Kimmich," said Ancelotti.

"He has a really big future here and I am sure he'll be a fantastic right back."

well on the + for me, Kimmich as RB+ Hummels+Boateng+ Neuer, gives Germany 4/5 of the defense all playing in the same club and together for 2 years ahead of the WC.

Good. Test our experimental squad against the best. Chuck them into the pool and see if they swim, so to speak.

Mexico seems to be sending their A-team too while a more B team is going to the GC.
and Portugal based on stuff I've seen seems to also be headed towards the A. Where Ronaldo himself might go. As he stated in the past that he wants to win another trophy for his country. He didn't want to jinx touching the CC trophy.

those 3 are the biggest threat to the title. In the end there is a good chance that all the countries outside of Germany will send an A-Team. Cameroon have nothing but the CC until August. etc.

it's all good for us, as it means our players will be competing with more experienced A-teams, so the more we do well the more we are in a good position going into the WC. And it will allow the coach to see the players that could be ready to make the jump to the WC. The ones that will be useful in another tournament.

it would also make a CC tournament win all the more impressive on our part, that a B-team was able to win the trophy while all the A-teams weren't good enough. I'm personally hoping for a top 3 finish at the min.

I don't watch football much these days, but based on stats I want to see Loew test out this new faces:

    ------------------Ter Stegen--------------------
    Kimmich--- Sule---Mustafi--Plattenhardt
    -----------Goretzka------------Demme---------------
    --------------------------------------
    Draxler-----------Stindl--------------Sane
    -------------------Werner----------------------

barring injuries, 5 or 6 of these players will be starters at the next Euro

A bit unhappy with the cc roster. I didn t expect Demirbay or Demme. Why has Kramer fallen out of favour?
Younes isn t enough good imo, Gnabry deserved the spot much more.
Also i think Henrichs isn t better than Durm. Why does Löw like him?
For the gks: 2 among Fährmann, Horn, Karius could be called over Trapp and Leno.
Good to see Plattenhardt, Süle and Stindl btw.

LOL, when I first read your post I thought you were joking.

so 1 open spot now, I wonder who will get it.
and it does suck as I wanted to see him play at the tourney. See how much he progressed. Although it will give Brandt and Younes more chances to impress.

I'm obviously biased, but Platte is quality and his nomination is overdue.

Platte is likely short for Plattenhardt.

Ha. Didn't think of Felix. In the squad and in official news Plattenhardt = Platte.

    Let me try again:

I'm obviously biased, but Marvin Plattenhardt is quality and his nomination is overdue.

He is a top 3 left back in the league based on Bundesliga.com

Alaba had been inconsistent these two seasons; Kolasinac n Rodriguez are leaving soon.

I think Plattenhardt can be a top LB in the league if he continues to improve
