    this is becoming a parody.

    U19 squad.
    https://www.dfb.de/u-19-junioren/team-und-trainer/?no_cache=1

    only strikers Wintzheimer and Y.Otto.

D.Otto and Musel on the backup list. Kruger nowhere in sight, or any other 99 striker with potential that could have been called up instead. Weird that the dfb doesn't call up the guys who are doing very well in the U19 outside of Wintzheimer.

Yari is a mystery case, there are probably 4-5 strikers in the same age group who are doing better

David Otto might wanna focus on Hoffenheim. No idea why Kruger is Left out

Nieland doesn’t play striker for Wolfsburg U19, so probably that’s the reason

Schreck isn't having that great of a season either, I think other players could have taken his place. As for Yari, even without Nieland/Kruger/Otto. Someone else should have been there instead, just hope that we don't make more duals decide for other countries because they get ignored for Yari Otto in the 99 group. Although It's sad that we will keep playing without our best strikers for each age group. 97, 98, 99.

The impression I get is that the U19 coach is just calling up essentially the same players as the 1st batch of U19 qualifiers, irregardless of form. Seems would rather focus on this group than the best players.

Both Robin Hack and Tim Handwerker scored for their respective reserve teams, Hoff II and Koln II.

973278658604478464 is not a valid tweet id

been looking for ages for an update about his condition. Confirmed the kid has been injured for awhile.

his lack of playing time during the fall while still at RB U19 is also likely because of his "health issues". Even during the U17 WC, he wasn't fully fit. You could see he that he wasn't fully fit. And when the guy missed 2 games out 4 of the tournament. That's suspicious, for a player with 1 goal and 1 assist during the tournament. Even then he still almost dribbled past 3 Brazilian defenders in the QF, lol. Or his solo goal vs Porto in the Youth League, where he dribbled/scored past 5 players including the keeper. It's time for him to come back and impress. Would be nice to see him in the 1st team next season.

according to the tweet, he could finally make his Ajax II and pro debut this Friday when Ajax II faces off 6th placed team De Graafschap.

    Oh its out already?

Nice to see Cyrill Akono is at least on the stand by list. That means he isnt ignored complately.

Herrmann scored 4 goals in 3 matches? I am still surprised to see him being listed as midfielder though, when Jessic Ngankam is listed as striker. I hope they can use Jesaja Herrmann well enough

A striker with size, pace and skill is not easy to find......

Last thing, where is Fiete Arp?

Arp is making his "Abitur" and as one could see in his last substitutions he looked kind of tired and had no impact. Maybe too much for the kid momentarily, seems to be reasonable to leave him out

it's fine to leave out Arp, the kid is a given for the U19 next season anyways. This is a good time to give chances to newer guys/or less tested ones.

Would have liked to have seen a few new faces, a lot of the same players as the U17. Glad to see Mbom and Fruchtl are back on the team and that this time Herrmann is part of the squad. Although I agree with KHR that Herrmann and Ngankam should be switched in places.

Hopefully we really steal Felix Nmecha from England, there is no provisionally cap tie from U18s as there is no competitive games, so Felix could still end up accepting calls from England..:devilish:

gotta feel bad for guys like Emre Aydinel, topping the scoring chart of the U19 West while being a 00 and not even a striker as well. Didn't even making the back up list.

speaking of Felix Nmecha he and his bro just won the UEFA Youth League QF vs Liverpool to advance to semi-final where they will face off vs Barcelona.

Felix played the full 90, his brother Lukas scored the tying goal in the 1-1 draw. Then during the PK shootout, Felix scored the 1st PK for Man City while Lukas scored the last/winning PK to advance.

Would be nice to also "steal" Lukas, who is performing very well at the City Reserve Team, but he played for almost all England Teams, don't think that he is interested to Switch.
Speaking of Emre Aydinel, he was now called up for the turkish U-18 as the only german-turkish Player. He played two times for the german U-17 but wasn't nominated since then. The U-18 is for testing a lot of players and when someone like Aydinel doesnt get nominated for these Kind of games games all season Long, it is not really understandable

yeah Lukas is doing very well in Premier League 2 having the best scoring rate there, was also the hero for England at the U19 EC scoring the winning goal in both semi and final. But it's highly unlikely he ever switches, Felix only seems willing because of a lack of interest/too much competition.

U18 and U20 (when there is no WC) are for testing players for the next level U19 and U21 respectively. See players who could contribute, which is why calling up mostly the same guys from U17 seems pointless. Aydinel should have been given a go.

what about Muhammed Kiprit has he been called up to the Turkey U19 squad? He still hasn't played any competitive games for Turkey so still open for both sides.

other players to consider obviously when fully fit and between now and the Euros next year
Geiger, Neuhaus, Hartel, Klunter, Platte, Waldschmidt,Knoll, Richter, Schubert, Ananou, Mittelstadt, Putaro, etc

    mostly focusing on the 96-97.

as the way it goes is
    2019 U21 EC-96-onwards
    2021 U21 EC-98-onwards
    2023 U21 EC 00-onwards

given this, the 2019 EC is the last one for that age group.

i thought Aaron Seydel was doing relatively well in 2BL.

I m not too sure about Platte, too many injuries in the last 3 seasons.

Geiger will be out until summer, our options are limited.

Johannes Eggestein hasnt stepped up as i expected

come on, what a joke England are.

after ignoring Felix Nmecha for years they also called him up to the England U18s. If he chooses them, unlikely to play for us at all.

    last England call up
England U16, Oct 2015, that's like 2 years and a half of being ignored.

Barkok's biggest problem is being wasted at Frankfurt. Sucks he has a contract until 2020.

although Diawusie should have at least been on the back up list.

Morroco qualified for WC 2018 right?

Maybe he will be another Kolasinac ... but it’s not too likely as he isn’t even playing for Frankfurt nowadays
