Bayern's last game of the season was a friendly vs some minnow.

    XI: Senkbeil, Will, Shabani, Franzke
Subs Used: Fruchtl, Zaiser, Jelisic, OBM

Mai was MIA for whatever reason. Will scored in the 4-2 win while OBM caused an own goal for the winner.

Some Koln youth updates we already know that 00-Becker is joining Bremen. Now some more movements,
OUT are 00-Aydin (to unknown), 01-Matter (headed to Schalke U19), 01-Heric (dual, plays for Bosnia to Fortuna U19), 00-de la Cruz (foreign player, to unknown), 00-V.Muller (GK, to unknown)
    https://www.fupa.net/berichte/1-fc-...l-aydin-verlaesst-den-1-fc-koeln-2404457.html

seems like Aydin has lots of interest, his agent turned down Turkey clubs (as usual the Turkish clubs just poach or try to poach duals) as he wants to continue his dev in Germany. Would hazard that leaving is due to lack of 1st team chances.

while Heric departure opens up chances to 01-L.Muller and 02-Thielmann.

looks like Koln U19 might get 2-3 players in Summer.

fully watched the Germany U16 game were we trashed France U16 3-0 and seriously that was a very generous win from us to them. Had a goal scored by Gunther (really should have scored a hat trick) counted as offside while Sieb was fouled in the box which was clear foul, even the commentator stated that seems like the ref didn't want to make it worse on France so he didn't call it a PK. Between all our chances could have ended up something like 6-0 or 7-0.

the more I watch Semic the more he looks to have potential to be the our future RB solution, hope he doesn't end up like Passlack, 2 RBs from Dortmund. The XI put out and even the subs played it felt like good chunk of the team can dribble too and technically good, which made it harder for France to defend against us, not only that but the combination play between the team was excellent. Gedikli did a great job in that lone striker role and did well with good chunk of his game having his back to goal, putting pressure on France and combing with others. Gedikli is listed as 1.85m on TM, but he looks like he could be taller? Rhein is always compared to Kroos and I felt he really did well vs the more physical French team as a CM, and provided 1 assist and heavy involvement for 2 of the 3 goals we scored. His assist was impressive, a pin point free kick from so far off. And the 3rd goal, he was so composed plus plenty of skills shown, were he fooled a Frenchie in midfield at the center of the field than had the vision to pass to a running Semic, was a very nice pass from him, where he turned as his back was towards the Frenchie and instantly passed a long pass. His midfield partner Lutke-Frie was more low key but did his job. Denk (besides one moment of madness) and Mbi defended well as cb pair, while I had 0 expectations of newbie Andresen who played LB (seems to play in HSV U16), ended up impressing.I also get why Koln fans rate Wirtz really highly.

now this 03 group just needs to play more together, throughout the season the call ups were all over the place, no consistency. Makes sense some are injured some have school, some scheduling problems.

Still think we need more striker options than Gedikli and Sieb or Gunther (who can play LW/RW/CF). I mean what if one of them gets injured? Also to give more chances to others. Too bad Matanovic (1st 03 I believe who got a pro contract already, signed until 2023....) was injured and there are plenty of other 03 strikers in U17 and U16 leagues too. Next season the U17 will be dominated by 03s.

to think Netz (plays with 02 group in NT games, very rare for a player to not play his own age group), Gencoglu (long term injury until June/July),Kurt, Barata, Atty, Fust, Musiala (triple national who so far prefers England), Reneilt, Herold, Schwieren were absent and plenty of others got calls up and used over the year, not going to name them all but didn't make this squad for whatever reason. Still curious about players like Sane, Brandt, Rezai, Sohn, Sanyang etc and the ones who are currently used in U16, as U17 is last season for 02s, so they dominate majority of squads. It'll be interesting to see if any 03s who played all season in U16 takes U17 next season by storm, too early to tell.

at this point I'm also wondering about which 03 will end up making his pro debut the 1st? They are eligible starting 2020 as that's when they turn 17.

I just hope they keep it up next season and especially qualifiers, sure today was only a friendly and that's not the same as competitive games but it's still a good/+ showing from the 03s. Took a good step forward.

when I watch Rhein, Gunther play I'm glad that Bayern II are in 3rd Liga will be better for them if they can play 3rd Liga (if Bayern can last more than a season, which I hope they do. Also hope more II jumps next season) as those 2 are examples of many where Bayern moves players up early. I mean these 2 will play U19 next season while being U17 eligible. Stiller and OBM are both still U19 eligible for Bayern but will play II/3rd Liga next season.

it could be the same for Rhein and Gunther in 1-2 years time they could be playing Bayern II while still being eligible for U19.

that's the trend, players play II, 1-2 years earlier the ones more rated that is. Believe that the Bayern youth coordinator (or whatever he's called) stated that they up players who need a better challenge early. Evina played 1 and a half seasons in II/RL for Bayern and the went on loan to 2BL and as a 00 this season was his last U19 season, essentially skipped U19. Mai/Fruchtl played major roles in Bayern II getting promoted, also skipping out last U19 season. So they play 3rd Liga and the more they impress the more Bayern 1st team or clubs from higher levels will show interest for loans or permanent transfer. Even Zirkzee seems to have jumped to II early.

remainder that last Bayern 1st team players who made it, Muller/Alaba jumped to 1st team when Bayern II was in 3rd Liga, the whole RL time, 0 real promotions.

speaking of Evina, he cut his loan short from Kiel. Which means that Awuku at Kiel who's done well in RL (while being U19 eligible) should be able to get chances.

    -forgot about this.

and we get a German CB eligible for next U21 playing Serie A, signed until 2024.

-The 2nd piece of updates is from the Eredivisie. We actually have a bunch of Dutch, Austrian, Swiss league players who are part of the youth teams in those countries like II and lower that we rarely bring up in here as most of the focus is German domestic.

00-Dimitrios Ioannidis signed his 1st pro contract with Fortuna Sittart for 2 years.

went from Oberhausen U19 (some random U19 club) to Sittard U19 in Summer 2018 to one year later in 2019 a pro contract. Shows that if some no name German player from a no name German youth club can jump to the Eredivisie what would happen if better players went to the Netherlands?

Seems like Dortmund also want him to have a good U21.

Seems doubtful that Paderborn will use Tietz next season but he's attracting 2BL interest including promoted clubs like Wehen and Karlsruher.

A 99 CF joins 3rd Liga from OL.

Jumped ship from relegated Aalen to another 3rd Liga club.

Baumann had previously stated that 00 GK Plogmann (who the club see as future #1) will get a loan to likely 3rd Liga for higher match practice. Seems to be linked with WK.

99 LB Fabian Nurnberger signs his 1st pro contract with FCN.

"When I moved to Nuremberg, of course, I hoped that I could take the next steps here. So I am all the more pleased that I was able to convince those responsible in recent months of my qualities, "said the left-back. "The new contract is an incentive and motivation for me to repay the trust with good performance."

    "Want to further promote him"

Sports Director Robert Palikuca: "Fabian is a young player who quickly got his bearings here in his first year. We still see a lot of potential in him and want to further promote him in the future. "

I do think it's interesting that they signed both 99-Nurnberger and 00-Celebi from their U19-II and both are LBs. Leibold has been linked out and the other LB another youth one, Lippert was out with long term injury. So seems like these 2 their LBs for next season. And then you got Goden at RB.

Joins the Danish 1st division after playing Bremen II.

    Some more 3rd Liga movement,

looks like 1860 Munich rates these players.
First and foremost are the two talents Noel Niemann (19, right winger) and Leon Klassen (18, left-back), who were already allowed to train with the pros and have already shown their time in Totopokal in the case of classes. Also left wing Fabian Greilinger (18) is certified in the club an enormous potential.

although Klassen is a German-Russian who's provisionally capped by Russia.

Both Chelsea and Turkey FA can go shove themselves.

Chelsea Scout Bayer Leverkusen Wonderkid Emrehan Gedikli Who Scored 23 Times In 25 Games At Youth Level

Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Emrehan Gedikli a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.

The Blues are among several sides from the Premier League and across Europe that have been keeping an eye on the development of the highly rated young striker.

The 1.85m tall, powerful striker is widely rated as one of the top striker prospects in German football.

Gedikli has impressive technical ability, tactical awareness and an impressive strike rate.

The 16-year-old has scored 23 times in 25 games this term for the U17 side netting a goal every 79 minutes.

The young forward has also been making a name for himself at international level scoring three times in five appearances for the Germany U16 team.

Despite being born in Germany the rising star is an ethnic Turk and eligible to represent Turkey at senior international level.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) have targeted Gedikli as a priority player and have already made an offer to switch allegiances.

It remains to be seen which national team he will represent at senior level but he will have the option to play for either Germany or Turkey until he makes his first senior national team appearance.

Chelsea are currently serving a transfer ban which restricts the club from signing players during the next two transfer windows until the end of January 2020.

The Blues appeal to FIFA to overturn the decision has been turned down but they plan to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Even if the ban were to be overturned Gedikli would be a long-term target.

    https://turkish-football.com/chelse...o-scored-23-times-in-25-games-at-youth-level/

reality is that there is for sure interest in all over Europe which is why Bayer Leverkusen will eventually be forced to act just like Mainz and Eyibil. Wonder if Bayer see Gedikli has their next Havertz, not as a player comparison, just in that next big youth player who jumps to the 1st team. Although Scott and another 1-2 players there seems rated.

as for Turkey if they poach Gedikli, will continue their recent trend of poaching all relevant German-Turks youth strikers. Striker is the #1 position that they poach from Germany these days.

what's interesting to note is Gedikli's efficiency for Germany whenever he starts for us.

    Germany U16, 3 goals in 5 games

Game 1 vs Belgium, started, scored.
Game 2 vs Belgium, subbed in, did not score
Game 3 vs Czech, subbed in, did not score
Game 4 vs Czech, started, scored
Game 5 vs France, started, scored.

    For Germany 3 starts=3 goals.

as for Bayer Leverkusen U17 in the U17 West, plays above his age, and 2nd best scorer in the league following Moukoko. And his strike rate at 1 goal every 79 min= to 1 goal every game since U17 games are 80 min. So another 1 for 1.

00-Plogmann and 99-Musel (although seems to be playable in CM/AM/CF, still wonder if Gladbach see him as Stindl's heir?).
One who has made a name for himself in the regional league is Luca Plogmann. The two-legged goalkeeper has a market value of around 500,000 euros. With the U19 team he was allowed to represent Germany as a national player. For SV Werder Bremen II he plays regularly in the Regionalliga Nord and for SV Werder Bremen he came already in the Bundesliga for use. We do not know if he will become one of the best earning players in the sports world, but he is certainly on his way to doing so. Another top candidate for promotion to a higher league is Torben Müsel. He is positioned in the attacking midfield and by June 2020 he is under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the Regionalliga West Müsel is currently listed as the player with the highest market value and is at Borussia Mönchengladbach II under coach Arie van Lent regularly in action.
    http://www.4-liga.com/nachrichten-struktur-und-aufstiegskandidaten-der-regionalliga-42484.html

98-Schmidt who helped Wehen get promotion to 2BL, is wanted by Wehen and seems headed to 2BL. Although the question of loan or permanent, does seem like Bremen isn't sure which one.
    https://www.deichstube.de/news/werd...-wehen-wiesbaden-wolfsberger-ac-12332883.html

97-Uduokhai is being linked with a loan to Fortuna in 1BL.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/ohis-felix-uduokhai_7041/fortuna-in-kontakt-mit-uduokhai-270571/

Some Bremen updates on 00-Philipp, Gruev (dual provisionally capped by Bremen), Ihorst, and Quarshie (triple, so far prefers Ghana) etc.

Over the entire season, it was not just training sessions that allowed talent from the WERDER performance center to get a taste of the pros. Best example: the two test matches against blue-white Papenburg (to the game report) and the VfL Oldenburg (to match report). In addition to Ilia Gruev and David Philipp, who already participated in the training camp in South Africa, were with Fred MC Mensah Quarshie, Luc Ihorst or Pascal Hackethal other U19 players together with Claudio Pizarro and Co. in the field.

While Luc Ihorst and Fred MC Mensah Quarshie scored in the tests with hits, Ilia Gruev and David Philipp are already one step ahead. For both, the number of units in the Bundesliga squad will increase in the coming months, as Florian Kohfeldt reveals. "Ilia and David will complete the summer preparation with the Bundesliga team," said Werder head coach, who follows directly an assessment: "I ask, not to screw the expectations of the two too high. No one should demand that they be in the starting lineup directly on Matchday 1. That is not the goal. You should now get used to the men's area. Of course, if they bring top performance, everyone can recommend themselves to the squad, but the point is not to define themselves through Bundesliga appearances. They should define themselves through development. "

Individual progress has also been made with all the other talents who have been training during the last season. So also for Werder U17 player Abed Nankishi and Nick Woltemade. "These were recommendations from the performance center where the people in charge said it was good for the players in their current development step to train with the pros. So that the players see what is already good and what they still have to work on, "concludes Kohfeldt. This development continues with the start of the new season.
    https://www.werder.de/aktuell/news/junioren/20182019/junioren-bundesligateam-22052019

what's interesting is how 02-Nakishi and Woltemade have trained with the 1st team. Not mentioned since Kohfeldt is talking about U17-U19 players is 00-Mbom (skipped last eligible U19 season to play II) who is likely also part of the 1st team Summer camp. Also Plogmann (seems headed for loan) and Rieckmann are other 00s who skipped last U19 season to play in II. Curious to see how Rieckmann is viewed at the club, he has trained with the 1st team over the season.

what I find curious about Bremen is the amount of 98-onwards midfielders and strikers at the club. They can't all get promotion and 1st team chances not realistic. I mean you look at strikers from their Academy and it goes.
    98-J.Eggestein (1st team regular), Osabutey (non-German)
99-No one relevant in here. Hoppe was never used by Bremen II, left for Chemnitzer FC in RL, impressed there and helped them get promotion to 3rd Liga, so while other players will still be in RL he's going for 3rd Liga next season. The other guy van den Berg, also irrelevant at the club and signed until 2020 but really needs to leave. That Ihorst and Quarshie are likely to be playing in II if they don't go on loan or permanent out will just make him waste a 2nd consecutive season. And to think Hoppe and van den Berg were both regulars for U19.
00-Ihorst, Quarschie (pretty much W/CF)...........not counting Sargent because he was never a youth player, he came to II directly.
01-Memisevic (wonder if he's been involved with 1st team yet?)
    02-Woltemade, Jusufi, Nakishi (W/CF)

midfield is just as stacked and you get the sense that Bremen isn't sure what to do with some of them. It's almost like they are loaning out their midfielders to see who does well.

for these strikers if they stay in Bremen, they will likely have to play II (RL or 3rd Liga) do well there, either get 1st team chances or get loan/permanent transfer to a higher level. That will end up being the end result.

and that's not even the whole list of strikers, didn't even bring up 04-Keke Maximilian Topp from Bremen U15 or other 03-onwards. Topp has made some dfb U15 camps too and has won numerous Golden Boots in those tourneys throughout the season that include other clubs in Germany and foreign clubs too. Also seems like he'll win the C-Junioren Regionalliga Nord (U15 league) top scorer as well.

it's funny that a Turkish FA once stated that Turkey would be screwed if they didn't poach German-Turks. How dual top talent stay with Germany easier is the more we get success and the less other countries get success. I mean Turkey besides WC2002 and Euro 2008, it's all failure for seniors and a complete disaster so far in U21 for them as they can't even qualify most of the time. I think top talents would want to play for the country that is more likely to win trophies.

they love to take strikers or any attacking players who do well in U17-U19. They have taken Yuksel, Kiprit, Yalcin, Kutucu, Uzun, Aydinel and a few others. Basically any German-Turk that does well they will try to poach early. It's sad when countries can't develop their own players. Not just that but Turkish club's tactics of "youth promotion" is an attempt to lure German-Turks, so many of them get Turkish clubs wanting to give them chances.

finally official, 99-Kade joins Union Berlin in 1BL. Sounds like he'll be with them in 1BL.

97 GK Nicholas joins Union on 2 year loan.

    96-Frey joins 2BL Sandhausen

97-Wolfram joins Ingolstadt. Disappointing he didn't go for 2BL, going from one 3rd Liga club to another.

99-Wintzheimer interview where he states he's not leaving HSV even if he got other offers and also praises Arp.

99-Scholz moves to the FCK 1st team in 3rd Liga while GKs 98-Raab and 00-Weyand extend and 98-Morabet's contract becomes pro in 2020. They also signed 5 youngsters from their U19 in Winter to long term contracts (already covered months ago). That's a lot of youth interest from the club.

U17 (final matchday of the season)
X6: Samardzic (came back from a long term injury as if nothing happened, ends season at 16 goals and 7 assists in 15 games, although the assists don't include today's 13-0 win where he scored half the goals)
    X3: Beier, Kudala, Moukoko, Strobl
X2: Hofner, Civeja, Kurt, Gorny, Ihbe, Ebert, Ahmadi, Gedikli, Zadek
X1: Galjen, Weiss, Schmitten, Ozkaya, Nebel, Hoxha, Hauser, Mensah, Bacher, Sieghart, Loune, Littmann, Bazdrigiannis
Kutluhan, Liebelt, Woltemade, Hecker, Stoye, Rink, Matanovic (double digits for the 03), Yildirimer, Netz, Tekin,
Tomerius, Winkler, Gollombeck, Futken, Atmaca, Fehler, El-Zein, Selutin, Schroers, Moskvin, Pavlovic, Oeynhausen
Bampali, Tehe, Ozgen, Cicekdal, S.Aydin, Scheele, Kuhn, Plaza, Bolufe

there it is for Gedikli scored the double in a 2-0 win over Koln U17 which takes his tally to 25 goals in 26 games playing above his age group. His tally of 25 gives Gedikli the best ever season for a Bayer U17 player.

    U17 Sud/Sudwest Winners: Bayern U17
    U17 Sud/Sudwest Relegation: Ulm U17, Ingolstadt U17 and Heidenheim U17
U17 Sud/Sudwest Top scorer: Beier at 18 goals

    U17 Nord/Nordost Winners: Wolfsburg U17
    U17 Nord/Nordost Relegation: Kiel U17, Tennis Borussia Berlin U17, Borgfeld U17
U17 Nord/Nordost Top scorer: Tekin at 26 goals, he's also Hertha U17 all time top scorer and U17 Nord/Nordost all time top scorer. Although had his Hertha teammate Samardzic not gotten that long term injury he likely would have gotten all 3 of Tekin's records.....

U17 West Winners: Dortmund U17 while Koln even with a 2-0 loss to Bayer make the Championship run due to a 2 difference in GD.
    U17 West Relegation: Paderborn U17, Rot-Weiss Essen U17 and Duisburg U17
U17 West Top scorer: Moukoko at 46 goals

will be curious to see how he does in U19.

for context Avdijaj the previous record holder scored 44 goals and 15 assists in 25 games in his last U17 season for Schalke U17 back in 12-13. Although he was older than Moukoko in that season.

03 strikers playing in top 3 U17 divisions (not counting lower U17 leagues or U16 leagues)
1-Gedikli, 25 goals in 26 games in West.
    2-Matanovic, 10 goals and 6 assists in 20 games in Nord/Nordost
    3-Sieb, 10 goals in 25 games in Sud/Sudwest
    4-Gunther (W/CF), 7 goals and 9 assists in 25 games in Sud/Sudwest
    5-Durmushan, 4 goals and 5 assists in 24 games in Nord/Nordost
6-Mehicevic, 4 goals and 1 assist in 20 games in Sud/Sudwest. (called up by Bosnia in May)
    7-Sohn, 4 goals in 11 games in Nord/Nordost
8-Schmid, 3 goals and 2 assist in 13 games in West
9-Nuhanovic, 3 goals in 9 games in Sud/Sudwest. (also called up by Bosnia U16)
    10-Pawletta, 2 goals and 1 assist in 21 games in Nord/Nordost
    11-Grober, 2 goals in 5 games in Nord/Nordost
12-Ozgen,2 goals in 7 games in West
13-Kesim, 2 goals in 9 games in West
    14-Kroll, 2 goals in 10 games in Sud/Sudwest
    15-Motika, 1 goal in 7 games in Sud/Sudwest

Not counting your Kowalski, Reincke etc who made some cameos over the seasons. Also a lot of these are back up strikers too.

notice the amount of duals in there.
Gedikli (Turkey), Matanovic (Croatia), Sieb (forget which African country), Durmushan (Turkey), Mehicevic (Bosnia), Nuhanovic (Bosnia), Ozgen (Turkey), Kesim (Turkey), Motika (Serbia)

that's 9/15 from the ones who scored this season. Which is disconcerting when already these players are being poached by other countries or there are attempts to poach them. I mean both German-Bosnians are with Bosnia. How long before all German-Turks non Gedikli (who Turkey are trying to poach) end up with Turkey? Matanovic played with Croatia U15 before recently getting Germany U16 call up, which does mean that if we don't act Croatia could win him over. Would not surprise me one bit if Motika gets Serbia call up soon enough.

not on this list because he plays Dortmund U16 but Wasilewski was last seen with Poland U16. Regardless of the quality of the listed strikers, them playing for other countries will shrink the 03 striker pool. Same issue is going to pop up for every age group in all positions when other countries keep poaching and lack of space doesn't help one bit.

what's interesting about 03-Gedikli is that only 2 players from Nord/Nordost, West and Sudwest even scored more than him. 04-Moukoko and 02-Tekin. Tekin also scored only 1 more while playing in the weakest of the 3 regions. So it means outside of Tekin, Gedikli scored more than every 02 striker in Germany.

    Sieb has Mozambique roots

Reports are saying Turkey are trying to poach Gedikli. But Gedikli has rejected their offer and sad such on last Friday

He said Turkey poached him but he knows Germany have a strikers crisis n reckons he is needed more in DFB. Mostly applied to top rated strikers though

I think most dual national prefer DFB over other countries because they know Germany need strikers. They might choose other countries for now but will switch back later.

They are more examples of being provisionally capped but switched back to DFB

lame as hell that Dortmund U19 won the Championship...........undeserved.

Dortmund beats Stuttgart 5-3, the catch Stuttgart U19 were leading 3-1 before the Stuttgart player Mack got a straight red, which then Dortmund scored 4 to make it 5-3.

    Goals scored by
Ferjani OG, Gunes OG, Dajaku, Egloff, Pherai (non German), Besong X2, and Zauner.

I think Besong showed enough since his return from long term injury to find a club post U19. While Dajaku, Egloff and others seem poised for 1st team chances at Stuttgart.

yeah I was thinking Sieb's African country was the same as Amade.

glad to see Gedikli is sticking with dfb. Now we need to try to keep Matanovic in the program. Although I doubt Kutucu will switch.

still our strikers from 98-onwards seem more interesting than the pre 98 ones. Will be interesting to see who really pans out at the pro level.
