it doesn't really matter anymore anyways, Arp has been done with HSV for awhile now. Makes more sense for HSV to focus on the player who'll be there next season like Wintzheimer.

this season would have been a wasted season had it not been for the fact that he still U19 eligible.

who would have thought Cakar is the highest scoring 01 striker from all 3 leagues? not counting HSV's Beke who is Hungarian and playing in the weaker Nord/Nordost.

and Frankfurt U19 have been fighting relegation battle for awhile now and Cakar seems to be steering them clear of that. I'm sure most fans expected Makanda to be the difference maker but it's the other Summer transfer player who's been the difference maker.

what's interesting is that Cakar's numbers aren't even far off from the "highly rated"Dutch striker Zirzkee. Both are at 12 in U19 for the season in Sud/Sudwest but Cakar plays for the inferior team.

while Gudra seems to be doing well ever since his winter transfer

    playing 9 min today.
this season as a pro 1 goal in 2 games playing 30 min. Good to see him do well, hopefully he continues to get chances rest of the season and even next season with promotion.
-Vagnoman made his comeback from injury playing 26 min. While Kohlert was unused.

eh who knows what Bayern plans anyways. He's still U19 eligible next season and can also play in II who might get promotion to 3rd Liga next season.

they are also getting Arp and once again who knows what they plan with him too.

the real issue is Striker is the position I don't think Bayern will trust inexperienced youngsters. Lewa seems to be going nowhere and then too many Werner or Jovic to Bayern rumors. They get another striker, then unless injuries happen unlikely any youngster will be 1st team player unless they go on loan.

not the first time Kauper gets into trouble....

    Wintzheimer getting praise.

seriously dumb how HSV keep playing with false 9s whenever Hwang or Lasogga are MIA as they played Ozcan yesterday as CF. Even Titz played false 9s, I mean that club doesn't trust young strikers to give them chances.

It’s interesting that Marcel Beifus is seen as a attacker/midfielder in this squad

Yes he started his career as a CB, but he’s an efficient scorer and is used as a striker in recent months

For a CB, Beifus is moderate size at 185cm. Not a bad idea to play as striker in the long run

Isn't Christopher Scott one of the best players in this age group ? Why is he not part of the squad?

According to https://www.transfermarkt.de/christopher-scott/leistungsdaten/spieler/503162 , he missed 4 matches due to a red card suspension but was available and played the full match for Leverkusen last week. It looks like the coach is punishing Scott for his red card and sabotaging the national team at the same time.

not shocking Kiel does nothing but loan in players form other clubs and play those instead of their own. They seemed very high on Fleckstein but then take Bisseck on loan for 2 seasons......

Goller to Bremen?Seriously Schalke are full of shit, they kept praising him non stop and then they go and buy Matondo for like $10M+ which constantly shows how German clubs cast aside their young players even when they praise them.

as for Roczen him going to 3rd Liga is somewhat disappointing. Lowen going to Russian League could increase chances he gets poached by Russia.

yeah Scott is rated player even by Bayer but has been as you said the red card is what is sabotaging him. NT isn't going to call up a player who hasn't played much since mid Feb, sucks too. I also noticed his absence during the qualifiers. Likely will take awhile before we see him with Germany again.

and welcome to the forum. New members are nice to see.:D

Thanks. I've been lurking this forum for a while and finally decided to create an account.

I watched the qualifiers and Jordan Meyer and Lars Kehl don't give me a lot of confidence going into the tournament. Especially Kehl. Malik Tillman is a great player while Marco John is talented but wasn't at his best/could do better. Having only 1, maybe 2 good central midfielders in the squad is worrisome.

That didn't stop Feichtenbeiner from nominating Samardzic. Scott should have been called up. As you said not too long ago, German NT youth coaches have been bad when it comes to squad selection.

Nebel and Beier were disappointing in the qualifiers. Based on these matches, Nebel lacks the athleticism for the highest level. I seriously doubt he will be a difference maker against Spain,Italy or Austria. Beier lost the ball too many times. I would have replaced them with Thielmann,Lemperle or Tekin. This team has big issues with putting the ball in the back of the net so it's hard to understand why Emincan Tekin continues to get omitted from the squad. His composure in front of goal is unbelievable.

Feichtenbeiner is your typical youth coach that pretty much calls up the same players even when those guys barely qualified. Read interviews and these guys always always talk about sticking with the same core of players. Which is ridiculous, a lot of it is not form based either, it's name based.....

Samardzic is your typical even if he barely played all season due to injury and just recently coming back because he's a difference maker. He made the squad for the qualifiers.

I agree about Nebel, Kehl and Meyer also thought that Dardai was an issue, in fact as usual we never look confident either in defense nor in striker. I'm not even sure what Beier is doing being called up from all the 02 strikers. Seems like he's dead set on Woltemade, Adeyemi and Beier, where Beier is your droppable striker.

I think 02 would have been doomed with that squad had it not been for Adeyemi. This squad who could barely do anything in a weak group will go through the next round in that tough U17 Euro group, seems very questionable.
