    you mean Marlon Trujillo, he's I believe a German-Spaniard.
Ibrahimi is an interesting prospect although he needs more efficiency uptop.

One thing a lot of the 03 kids have is a lot of them can dribble. Are they the age group with most dribblers in there?

I've seen tons of praise from Dortmund fans for Lutke-Frie. Ones such that he could have 1st team prospects.

you still compare Gunther to Bale?

as for Sane if he really is talented here's hoping he goes pro, could make the 03 group even stronger if he is good.

I could see Wuck go for Gedikli as starter and Gunther as a sub striker. From what I noticed for dfb, Gedikli does better as a starter while Gunther with his speed does well either way, whether from XI or vs more tired legs.

Well Gedikli doesn’t press and not so good at back-to-goal. More like a targetman or poacher

Lasse Gunther is more allround striker. I see some similarities between him and Suarez/Bale, maybe a mix

Even if he cant grow further, at 183cm he isn’t small already, and he has a wide frame.

I like Lasse Gunther as a starter, too good of a player to be benched. Far ahead of other kids in 2003 imo, can do hold-up play n involve in build up, can do damage in tight space n counter, very efficient for the DFB too. Just a great great footballer

Maybe Gedikli n Lasse both at CF in a 442? Will be interesting to see

Marlon Trujillo can be good backup, like what I saw from him.

if D.Otto plays with Hoff, they have better chance of progressing while Hertha have it tough.

becoming hard to develop German players when everyone is made of glass. This is why this season has sucked since there has been too many injuries, including long term ones. Too many players are also losing their spots due to those injuries.

Geiger is good prospect too bad that for over a year now, constant issues.

00-Mbom makes the Bremen 1st team bench for the 1st time. Hopefully he makes his 1BL and pro debut today vs Stuttgart. Keeps showing that midfield is the one position where development of players is not an issue in Germany. Although Mbom only called up due to injuries/unfit to other players.

Mees scores his 4th of the season to make it 1-0 for Union.

    Austrian 2nd division.
Adeyemi (85 min) and Ludewig (full game) both started today in a 4-0 win. Adeyemi had a goal and assist. Adeyemi for a 02 is not far off from breakingthrough the Austrian 2nd division top 10 scorers. Youngest player too.

    2BL
-Pieper came on the 90th min to seal off a 1-1 draw, his 2nd game for Arminia.
-Jaeckel continues to play DM for Furth which still gives the problem that we don't seem to have any regular players playing CB that are eligible for next U21 cycle besides Carstens. (looking at Germany based players).
-Christiansen's career seems to continue to be going nowhere, not much progress. Came on the 90+2 in a 1-1 draw. 1st game since mid-Dec.

    Eredivisie
Czyborra started his 6th consecutive game, playing the full match in a 1-0 win vs VVV. Win takes Heracles to #5 in the league. 3 consecutive clean sheets in a row too.

    1BL
no debut for Mbom, not surprising though, majority of times back up making squad aren't used as subs. Although whether M.Eggestein or Sahin (not that great), seems like a spot could open up between now and 2020. J.Eggestein played 18 min as a sub in the draw.

very interesting Gladbach's Eberl recently stated that they didn't go for Danish 00 striker Mathias Jorgensen (ended up in MLS) because they have decided to bet on their own guys.

    Own talents have priority

Absolutely right. After all, one is currently building a youth boarding school and has enough promising talents in its own stable and has set itself the ambition to promote it. In order to have sustainable arguments in the fight for the young talents to have the opportunities to work your way up as a young player.

That is precisely the crucial point why Mathias Jørgensen was not obliged then. "Mathias gave us a really good impression this winter during his trial. However, we already have good players for his position in the field, and in our youth team we also have players who remember him in the game, "Max Eberl told Bold.dk. "That's why we chose to focus on our own players at our academy."
    https://fohlen-hautnah.de/themen/ku...fuer-entschieden-auf-unsere-spieler-zu-setzen

    options are
-II: Musel (closest to 1st team) and Steinkotter
-U19: Dressen, captain and leading scorer this season
    -U17: Harnafi

those are the main ones, other strikers at Academy are sub ones.

if he's banking on 02-Harnafi, who's not provisionally capped by Morocco (yet) but has been involved with them in some form. Then potentially yet another striker that could get pro chances that doesn't play for Germany.

speaking of Gladbach, 98-Aaron Herzog has been training with 1st team. Of course it doesn't mean he'll make squads but it's a start. He made the 1st team bench back in Feb 2018 but was unused.

Talent of the day, Lennart Czyborra: the blond Superman of Heracles
Lennart Czyborra seems to have found the ideal club in Holland, to be precise at Heracles Almeno. Lateral blonde and with the body of Superman, he soon became a very titled Eredivisie, so much so that several important clubs are becoming interested in his performances. Adaptable also to the control unit, he moves naturally along the entire left lane, but it is certainly more inclined to the defense than to the offense. Schalke 04, a club that sold him in the summer, could soon regret not having fully believed in this fluidized left-back with highly developed learning skills.

Chabot attracting interest from 1BL, Ligue 1, and Serie A clubs now Czyborra seems to also be attracting interest. Really does show that if your an XI in Eredivisie club and perform, interest will follow.

continuing the Eredivisie talk, looks like Barcelona will in the future continue to actively scout the Eredivisie for young talent according to their President. As they seem to be interested in younger players over expensive senior players.

of course I don't think Chabot/Handwerker/Czyborra etc are Barca material but it does show the interest big club take in the league.

    U17
    X4: Jacob Jansen
    X3: Jusufi
    X2: Thielmann, Fynn Otto
X1:Wirtz, Castrop, Sieb, Marco John, Rohl, Denk, M..Tillman, Frenzel, Kaid, Schneider, Neumann, Sohn, Keller, Ibrahimi
Hamdallah, Sieghart, Hofmann, Sehorz, Tekin, Beifus, Paura, Harth, Gatzke, Wesberg

    U19
X3:Breunig (now Sud/Sudwest top scorer, who would have thought a striker from Ingolstatdt U19 would lead the scoring table)
    X2: Burkardt, Batzner
X1: Eyibil,Tauer, Schonfelder, Bonianga, Gozutok, Batmaz, Cetinkaya, Dehl, Ngankam, Lebedev, Russo, Sessa, Engelhardt
Temp, Kanther, Zoch, Loubongo-M'Boungou, Gohoua, Cherif, Dressen, Borges, Bovenschulte, Ortmann, Cakar (scores his 8th of the season vs Makanda's 3.......Cakar also played like 200 min less too.)

just noticed that 02-Koudelka has played 2 consecutive full games in XI for Augsburg U19. Add them as another 02 already moving up to U19.

    RL
Musel (5th), Alberico X2 (4th), Luca Herrmann, Bell Bell (3rd)

    3rd Liga
-Another clean sheet for Korber. Meanwhile teammate Amenyido got another start and scored his 1st of the season, assist by Pfeiffer
-Owusu off the bench scores the winner to make it 2-1 for 1860, his 2nd of the season since his Winter loan. While Geisler scored his 3rd of the season for the losing team.
-99-Kaltner made his 3rd Liga debut for Unterhaching in a 1-0 loss, played 5 min+injury time.
-GK Sven Muller played 30 min off the bench to keep the game 0-0, was his 3rd Liga debut

a bunch of 98-99s continue to play or used/unused bench

    2BL
-Serra scored a PK and his 10th of the season in a 3-1 win for Kiel vs Bochum
-Bisseck made his 2BL debut for Kiel coming on the 90th min to seal off the win. Since he played 3 1BL games last season, not pro debut.
-Janelt had a rare start and played full game for Bochum in their 3-1 loss. While add 01-Romling as yet another 01 who makes his pro debut. Played 61 min for Bochum, started in XI.
-01-Ehlers made the bench for Dynamo for the 1st time, although unused. Atilgan played 30 min, Burnic continued to start and play full game as Dynamo lost 2-0 (1st goal was a PK). 00-Kulke also made his pro debut and XI for Dynamo in that game.
-Zehir made only his 2nd XI playing 81 min in a 1-0 win for Pauli

    1BL
-Waldschmidt scores his 7th of the season to make it 4-1 for Freiburg. Such a nice strike by him.
    https://streamja.com/znZX
-Okoroji made his XI debut and 2nd 1BL game as Freiburg trashed Augsburg 5-1, played 86 min and was replaced by Stenzel. K.
Schlotterbeck was unused bench player. While Oxford's straight red could be a chance next matches for F.Gotze to start, who was unused bench player.
-Rexhbecaj played 12 min and Uduokhai was unused bench as Wolfsburg beat Gladbach/Neuhaus 3-0.
-F.Muller kept a clean sheet vs Schalke and Oztunali played the full game as they won 3-0. Teuchert and Baku were unused bench player. I hope Baku can win back his place he lost due to injury. Serdar served his 1st game suspension out of 3.
-Mittelstadt (and 95-Stark played well vs Bayern) losing 1-0. Baak and Klunter were unused bench although Daradi played 12 min and Jastrzembski as well but what sucks for them is that Rekik got a straight red like 5 min later, so not much they can do. Although Rekik red could be a chance for Baak next match. Torunarigha was absent due to injury.

00-Beyer only lasted 15 min today for Gladbach II, hope it's nothing serious.

while Eckert after scoring last matchday starts today for Excelsior in Eredivisie.

looks like M.Tillman played Bayern U17 due to the U19 game being postponed. 03 Marusic made his U17 debut while 04-Kabadayi and 03-Motika were unused bench player. How long will that last once Tillman is back with U19? Soon enough Kabadayi should make his U17 debut and that'll be yet another 04 who's playing in U17.

Believe for 04, who've played in U17 it's Moukoko, Melkamu Frauendorf, Kade (Julius's brother) and soon enough Kabadayi should be the 4th.

what's good is that Motika/Kabadayi as forwards will continue to get mentored by Klose.

as for 03-Denk, since his return from injury, the trend continues for him. Every game he's started he's been involved in the attack 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games, having a goal or assist in those 4 games. And the same time defensively the team has had 4 clean sheets in a row with him in XI.

lol Lowen scores his 1st goal of the season to give FCN the 1-0 lead vs Fortuna.
    https://streamja.com/ApjR

not only that but FCN have been playing 10 men since the 3rd min. Muhl is also starting as well for FCN, they both helped keep a clean sheet for FCN vs Dortmund last matchday and now 1-0 HT while 10 men.

hopefully Barkok comes off the bench for Fortuna in 2nd half.

-Chabot/Handwerker kept a clean sheet today in a 0-0. Believe they've only conceded 4 goals in last 6 games.

-looks like Serra had a shot on goal which ended up as Kiel's 3rd goal. Ironic that Dutt barely played Serra last season when Serra was loaned to Bochum now he comes back and scores a goal and provides "an assist" in a 3-1 win vs his former club. All Serra played last season was scrap minutes.

    currently at
10 goals and 5 assists in 22 games. With 12 games to go in 2BL will be interesting to see how close to 20 goals in 2BL will he end up with?

if one wants to know how good that is for a 20 year old.
Lasogga at 19 scored 13 goals in 2011-2012 season, although potential ruined by injuries.
Podolski at 19 scored 24 goals in 2004-2005 season

pretty much young strikers topped out around 10-13 goals with vast majority being around 22. There are a few that are Serra's age but they ended up with 13 max.

-speaking of another striker the very short Tekin is now only 1 goal away from tying J.Eggestein as U17 Nord/Nordost all time top scorer and only 2 away from becoming sole all time top scorer. And this is from a striker with 0 height advantage being only 1.66m (although maybe he grew since?). Although still think Samardzic could have been a contender had he not been out of most of the season and only recently returned from injury.

some more on 03-Sidi Sane, this time from Schalke U16 coach Wili Landgraf who's been involved in Schalke youth for a decade.

The youngest son, Sidi Sané (15), plays in Schalke's U16 and is like Leroy an attacker. Quite a few experts believe he is even more talented than the Manchester City star. "Sidi brings along potential that others do not have," judges his coach, former professional Willi Landgraf.

hopefully Sidi is good enough that by next season we call him up in Germany U17 and stop calling up that flip flopper Musiala who even though isn't English is more interested in playing for England.

gets called by Germany, only for him to retract followed by him soon after accepting an England U16 call up and currently playing for them.
