likely next stop is either 2BL or Eredivisie but hopefully no more loans so at least clubs would be more invested in his dev.

Eckert scores his 1st of the season off the bench to make it 2-1.

lol, @Karl-Heinz Riedle, Musiala is injured or just doesn't want to play for Germany?
    https://i.redd.it/u92nz7ei95h21.jpg

he's in England's squad for the UEFA Development where they play Norway, France and Brazil.

this is the 2nd time he gets called up by Germany only for his name to disappear and for him to appear for England not long after.

Stephan, Olejnikov, Maloku, Sally, Loune, M.Sanyang, Berisha, Krasniqi, Harnafi, Ahmadi, Schroers, Theuerzeit, Scharf, Wrinkler
    Zaher, Nuhanovic

Samardzic is back from long term injury and played entire 2nd half. Anton Kade also played entire 2nd half for Hertha (isn't he a 04???)

    U19
X1: Philipp Herrmann, Mengi, Breunig, Zylla, Can, Sabani, Kyerewaa, Sagman, Limani, Hinz, Stendera, Cakar, Voigt, Zietsch

    3rd Liga
-Bonga scored his 2nd of the season in a 2-0 win

    2BL
-Karazor scored his 1st of the season in a 2-2 draw for Kiel.
    https://streamable.com/3109x
-Schubert kept a clean sheet while Burnic played his 2nd consecutive XI in a 0-0 draw. Atilgan played 20 min. Since Burnic loan move, Dynamo have conceded 0. Only goal they conceded in those 2 games was a tap in due to a Schubert mistake vs HSV
-A Arminia cb got a straight red wonder if Pieper will get his chance in XI next matchday?

concerning Eckert that was his pro debut goal as his previous goals have been in U19, RL and Spanish 3rd division. Wonder if he got himself a starting spot next matchday?

Good matchday for up and coming strikers like Eckert and D.Otto (making his 1BL debut). Hopefully both continue their progress.

speaking of Eredivisie, youth players eligible for next U21 cycle that play in Dutch League are
Handwerker, Chabot, Weigelt, Czyborra, Akkaynak, Kuhn, Laukart, Bapoh, Ache, Novakovic

    Italian 3rd division
Toure has 1 goal and 2 assists in 27 games in all competition playing 1842 min. A starter for Juventus II, since he's only on loan wonder where he ends up next? Although seems like Juventus have an option to buy on him.

    Swiss League
Gaudino played 10 min in a 2-0 win.

    Belgian League
Friede starts again for 5 wins in 5 games since his arrival on loan at the club in a 3-0 win.

    Eredivisie
looks like Guwara lost his LB spot at Utrecht, he seems to have lost it just 1 game prior to an injury that took him out for 5 games and then returned in the next 8 games on the bench where he only played 1 game=8 min from those 8 bench appearances.

    1BL
Barkok played 63 min today vs Bayer Leverkusen as Zimmer got injured. Whoscored for one rated him as tied with Drobny as 2nd best Fortuna player in that game. Bayer dominated pretty much the whole game too. Barkok seems to have done well whenever given the chance this season. A Fortuna guy also said that they want to extend his loan for another season. How about just signing him? Doubt he has a future at Frankfurt. Also tied with Bailey with most dribbles at 2 and had 2 tackles as well.

speaking of Fortuna to think when it comes to GK that we were close to seeing a young GK to make his 1BL debut. Fortuna's #1 Rensing and #2 Wolf were both injured since before the Cup game where they played Schalke. But Fortuna had brought the 39 year old Drobny in Winter and he played both Cup game and today's game vs Bayer. Had they never brought him onboard, than 98-Theissen would have played both games.

7 German Youngsters Who English Teams Should Look to Poach to Replicate Jadon Sancho Move

    6-Antonis Aidonis
    5-Gian-Luca Itter
    4-Jean-Manuel Mbom
    3-Linton Maina

lol how about no? England moves with no experience=the trash that is EPL2. What's the point of anyone on this list of leaving Germany unless they go on loan to a neighboring league? Whole list are rated enough that they will find chances in 1BL-2BL and their current clubs rate them anyways.

Paul Glatzel is headed for a pro contract.

Exciting Liverpool Academy striker Paul Glatzel is set to sign his first professional contract with the club next week.

The teenage frontman is expected to put pen to paper when he celebrates his 18th birthday on Wednesday. It's reward for the huge progress he's made over the course of this season.

Glatzel has already made his debut for Liverpool Under-23s and has trained with the first-team squad at Melwood.

Born in Liverpool to German parents, the Parbold-based youngster has really kicked on this term after putting some major injury setbacks firmly behind him. He first joined the Kirkby Academy at under-9s level.

Academy director Alex Inglethorpe recently told the ECHO: “Paul fell off the radar probably when he was about 14 or 15.

"It happens with some lads, you go through your growth spurt and he couldn't have had any more bad luck really.

“It was one thing after another culminating in him breaking his leg. The support staff and the fitness coaches have been great in just monitoring his load a little bit throughout the year so he's got stronger and stronger as we've gone on.

“He's been on both England and Germany camps at youth level so if he's lucky enough he'll have a big choice to make at some point.”

00-Luca Mack captain of Stuttgart U19 also extended and he seems to have went until 2021 and moving to II in Summer.

interesting Schalke II coach Frohling has criticized how Goller is in limbo. That he trains with 1st team but never plays anything neither 1st team nor II.Although he played CL but only 1 game with 1st team Pretty much what we said here.

reality is that Goller's relevance is pretty much RB Leipzig/Frankfurt style if one looks it up including Kutucu and Goller, Schalke has exactly only 12 German players in 1st team which included a 35 year old Riether. That's why he's there to begin with in order to meet the 12 German players requirement.

other reality is simple once Schalke payed $11M for the 1 year younger Matondo, why would they play Goller? For all the praise Goller got from Tedesco, teammates and even Schalke bosses, none of their actions are ones that care about dev.

personally don't buy the idea of "competition" once clubs pay fortunes for players. Because when clubs pay fortunes for players those guys like Matondo jump directly to the 1st team. Unless they get injured or are massive flops they will get more chances than someone who cost peanuts. More like they will get all the chances in the world in order to justify the costs. And clubs will be more invested in their development.

Goller isn't the only player though. There are tons of examples of German players who are only back ups due to money. Same reason why Schreck is only a back up but Paulinho who Bayer spent $20M to buy is always in 1st team.

it's not really going great for German players when either money is involved or clubs just buy players in same position who are pretty much similar ages.

Schalke will only get worse. U17 lost 0-5 to Dortmund

Things aren’t looking good for them.,

Bierhoff is right, the only way to stop teams from buying from England, France and Belgium ... is to produce better players

And I do think most players in Germany now aren’t competitive at all. For Goller, he should’ve left, he needs regular playing time, not even coming off the bench. He needs to start regularly somewhere maybe in 2BL

And there is a correlation, teams like African descents nowadays. Fast n physically 100% ready for competitive matches. They won’t ply u until u are ready for that.

We suffer because our 1997, 1998, 1999 only have 2-3 good talents who are ready for pro football in the entire age group: physically, technically or tactically

I think 2002 is slightly better but not by too much.

In terms of raw talent and readiness, in a top XI per age group among Europe. U won’t see many Germans. That’s a problem. Maybe 3 Englishmen, 3 French, 2 Spanish, 1 German and some Eastern European

I think after Nubel, u won’t see ANY Schalke player got promoted until Mehmet-Can Aydin

Their academy are extremely weak now. Can’t attract top talents anymore.

Nubel was not a Schalke Academy player. Kutucu got promotion (but of course the guy who gets promotion doesn't play for Germany). I've seen tons of praise towards Can and Mercan from Schalke fans.

-Torunarigha and non youth Plattenhardt are out for the foreseeable future. That opens up 2 spots for now, likely Mittelstadt will play LB.

    -More on D.Otto!

Hoffenheim were also excellent at collapsing in on the ball to retrieve possession on the occasions where Hannover had progressed into the centre of midfield. Furthermore, their counter-pressing proved effective right until the end of the game, aided by the introductions of energetic duo Leonardo Bittencourt and David Otto.
    https://totalfootballanalysis.com/m...nover-bundesliga-tactical-analysis-statistics

-Fruchtl, Mai, Shabani and Awoudja went with the squad. That's 21 players, you need 18, which means need to cut 3 guys, Fruchtl is likely getting cut, that's one down 2 to go.

    -lyoha update
As the second tip next Pascal Testroet deployed Iyoha was a lot on the way and caused so much unrest on the defensive of the hosts. The 21-year-old ran 11.63 kilometers and thus had the fourth-best value of all players on the pitch. Only the central midfielders Clemens Fandrich (11.84 km) and Philipp Riese (11.78 km) recorded slightly higher values on the Auer side.

But above all, Iyoha knew not only to convince the two gates with the ball on the foot. Despite its size of 1.91 meters, the German-Nigerian born in Dusseldorf has an excellent technique and, together with the physical conditions, the potential for not having to end the second Bundesliga.

    Daniel Meyer still has hope
This knows also coach Daniel Meyer, who had the fervor over Tag24 to keep the only borrowed by Fortuna Dusseldorf offensive man beyond this season out in Aue: "With each appearance in the form it will be more difficult for us to gather arguments, that he stays with us. "

With each appearance in the form it will be more difficult for us. (Daniel Meyer)
Without hope, Meyer is also not and calls the prospect of regular playing time as the biggest asset of FC Erzgebirge: "We gave Emma the opportunity to play here stable, to go in his development the next steps. At some point he has to decide what his option is and whether it might not make sense to play another league with us for another year. I do not think that's so unlikely. "

The supreme prerequisite for being able to hope for the whereabouts of Iyoha is, of course, the league. For this purpose, the fast right foot after so far two goals and six assists in the coming weeks and months countable contribute.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/erzgebirge-aue-hoffnung-auf-verbleib-von-emmanuel-iyoha/

-Y.Otto update he's out for unknown period of time but seems to have an exit clause that activates if EB get relegation?
In the case of relegation, however, the BTSV must first refrain from the services of offensive player Yari Otto.

shows why going to Eredivisie is good for young players's careers. Why I don't mind young players going there post U19 since if you perform there than you'll attract interest from all over Europe.Especially strikers who will find it harder to breakthrough in Germany and 1BL always scouts Eredivisie. Chabot only in his 2nd season there and already interest from 1BL and Serie A. Could be useful player for the next U21.

    from link
"In the recent 1-0 win over Feyenoord, where Chabot was named player of the game, scouts from those teams were on hand to complete the picture of the talented defensive player.

By 2022 Chabot is still bound to Groningen. That he stays so long in the Dutch north, however, is not very likely. The ex-Leipzig brings all the prerequisites for a top career with: tackling strength, robustness, game overview and the necessary speed. That should be noticed in the near future even more clubs."

if one can breakthrough Eredivisie (easier than 1BL) and if you play there a few seasons going to 1BL is easier and quicker route than playing 2BL and lower. Tons of players spend too much time in RL level.

and also the possibility of playing European football is also there.

Shabani from Bayern should just accept that Ajax interest and go there in Summer. Him getting real chances at Bayern is unlikely, he's just a back up player. And based on all reports Ajax want to develop him too.

Handwerker I think should leave Koln, between Hector, Horn, Katterbach, there are already too many LB options. I'm sure the more he continues to perform for Groningen the more interest elsewhere will appear.

Interesting, I didn't know that Jan-Niklas Pia of Duisburg U19 who made his 1st team bench for the 1st time over the weekend is only 1.71 m in height according to TM. I know he's provisionally capped by Turkey but Aydinel seems to be something like 1.75m. Aydinel has also had a drought since early Nov too.

add the short 02-Tekin and supposedly short 04-Copado (can still grow). I've seen places say Paul Glatzel is 1.75m as well. Breunig of Ingolstadt U19 seems 1.78m which seems a bit better than the rest.

I'm really curious to see if these guys ever breakthrough 1BL if ever or whether they will be forced to play another position at pro. There are strikers in the 170s around Europe so it's not non existent although would say 1.80+ is preferred.

if one looks at current career progress than Pia, Aydinel, Tekin, Breunig,Copado and Glatzel have all done well so far. Glatzel seems to be getting Liverpool pro contract soon. Pia as stated 1st team chances, Tekin and Copado seem rated at their respective clubs. Aydinel I doubt Dortmund promotes him and he seems headed for II in Summer, after that who knows.
