Something is wrong, every BL team is just developing 8 and 10 and some wingers

We need some specialists at fullback and striker

It will be another disappointments in U17 EM, and clubs will continue to think German prospects are shit compared to English n French.

We need more physicality and diversification.

nothing new though, Germany and cbs has always been very iffy, one position where there is always lack of trust from my part.

speaking of physicality, someone from Dortmund recently said that the lack of optimization between school and training is hurting German players, it's one reason why countries like France/England are ahead and that it basically delays German players by 2-3 years.

that's one issue that foreign players seem more ready made for the pros than our guys. That's without looking at the systematic BS that killed individuality for so long that everyone in Germany wants to change now.

Well kids in England are not compulsory to do A-Levels after GCSE. They finish school at 16/17

All Germans need to complete Abitur in order to become professional footballers. They finish Abitur at 18/19

    So it’s tough.

But, in my opinion, they still need some education background before they turn pro. I’m not against that.

yeah but clubs are becoming impatient why wait a few years? when they could get a young ready player.

the Frenchies also have the advantage that a lot of them start playing Ligue 1-Ligue 2 very early on so they have experience which is why 1BL clubs go after them.

Can’t see a solution for that

Even myself, I kinda support the kids to complete Abitur before they become pro footballers.

I think it’s good for the kids in many ways.

I think nowadays, the French n English kids who succeed abroad are mainly African descents. Big n strong and fast

Improve enormously in physicality is the only shortcut for now. So kids need to go to training n also spending time in school n in gym. What they can do now is to focus on diet earlier

I saw Kerem Cahanoglu, already very muscular at 16,

    Thats the reality ,

Number of clubs in Germany Academy, Dfb trials, Squad size of the best in the age group, National team, At the end only fIve make pro each year

That happens from the past till now

U17 back in action starting today
    X1: Sieb, Beier, Breithaupt

looks like 03-Sanyang made his U17 debut for Hoff U17, playing 3 min. According to dfb he's German now.
    https://www.dfb.de/datencenter/personen/mamin-sanyang/spieler

    RL
    Baak (3rd), Roczen

    3rd Liga
Schmidt continues his good form with a goal (4th) and an assist in a 2-1 win for Wehen. Win takes Wehen to 3rd place and in contention for 2BL promotion. While Diawusie drew his 2nd PK in 2 consecutive games, both were scored.

    Dutch 2nd division
-Arweiler scores his 2nd of the season in a 4-2 loss.
-Novakovic kept a clean sheet in 1-0 win. While Simakala has lost his XI spot
-Ache played 16 min in a 4-1 win, the most he played this season after returning from long term injury+reserve stint.

    2BL
-Mehlem drew a PK which was scored in a 1-1 draw.
-Koln are looking in danger of missing out on 1BL promotion as they lost 3-2 to Paderborn, who on the other hand keep rising. Although Koln still have a game in hand. Vasiliadis continues to play important role in Paderborn's rise.

RB still stands for ball hunting and youth research. Erik Majetschak (18) is the first RB youth player to be in the Bundesliga squad from time to time. The midfielder had various second division offers in the winter, but was not allowed away. Rangnick / Nagelsmann have big plans for Majetschak.

are the plans loaning him to 3rd Liga or RL?:p Wonder about Stierlin though?

100% true, England's revival in their junior teams been down to the fact of the amount of very talented African English that are bursting through, it was always the same in the past but now the system is tapping in to these very talented players, I thunk the English system is more about to emulate the French system

D.Otto made his 1BL debut (finally!:p), not pro debut since he played for Hoff in 1 EL game last season when he was 18 years old.

he played 6 min+2 min of injury time.

I thought he did well in his 8 min, didn't look out of place, looked confident and positioned himself well. In the time he played, he was not far off from a chance to score although ball deflected on a defender, very scrappy. Last kick of the game was him having a chance only to advance the ball too close to keeper. And typical Otto who likes to set up teammates, had a nice lob while being surrounded only for the teammate to jump on Esser for an attempt header which is a foul.

hopefully the 1st of many chances!

-03-Gencoglu is out for the season and TM even has him back in July, sucks. Nothing worse than someone having an injury ending season while playing for the NT.

kid ends the season with 3 goals and 4 assists in 9 games playing 393 min for Dortmund U17. Pretty limited game time while playing up an age group, so next season he's playing with his age group the 03 in U17.

-meanwhile Czyborra's 5th consecutive start ends in a 6-0 win for Heracles. Could be interesting if they qualify for EL next season.Wonder if Wormuth (ex German U20 NT coach) picks up some German youth players in Summer?

-Akkaynak on the other hand is having a rough time ever since his straight red and then suspension during the holidays.
-Another not so great position is Henrichs who's been on the bench for the last 3 games for Monaco as they picked up 7 pts out of a possible 9. Finally out of the relegation zone but the guy has 4 and a half years left on his contract.......

Czyborra seems to be getting more and more steady. Whoscored gave him a match rating of 7.9

Torunarigha is becoming next Kempf and Stark. Good CBs who are injury prone, wasteful.

its good to see Czyborra cement himself at LB. With him and GL Itter and Handweker that position is set for next U21 cycle. There are plenty of other LB prospects but they need to be playing at higher level.

to think 2/3 of those LBs its the Eredivisie that's helping out.

speaking of injuries Steinkotter started today for Gladbach II and was subbed out after 31 min due to injury......That's the 4th injured player today, 5th if you count GK Hoffmann at Bayern training.

speaking of that game neither Musel nor Bennetts participated today. In 1st team? Neither Hofmann nor Traore are making tomorrow's squad. Unless the reason is that both are currently injured/unfit......

I wouldn't mind seeing Passlack going to the Eredivisie, could see that as a more ideal league for his development
