interesting besides 02-Sieghart to Unterhaching. More Bayern U17 are moving.
1086906528131674112 is not a valid tweet id

    02-Yannick Oberleitner to Augsburg.U17
03-Christos Evangelou to Unterhaching U17 on loan

but the relevant one is 02-Tillman to Bayern U19. 02s are starting to play in U19 not counting GKs (because there are in U19), you got Egloff who's a regular. Then guys like Nebel and Lemperle made their U19 debuts before the break. Now Tillman seems headed up.

woah would have expected this move?

    Tedesco abandons Captain Fährmann
The second half of the season gives Schalke a bang before the match against Wolfsburg. Coach Domenico Tedesco takes his captain Ralf Fährmann for sporting reasons out of the gate, relies instead on the 22-year-old Alexander Nübel.

He will not stand against Wolfsburg between the posts: Schalke goalkeeper Ralf Fährmann.

Ralf Fährmann is no longer uncontroversial at Schalke. With Schalke's coach Domenico Tedesco, the athletic status of the goalkeeper suffered more and more in the course of the first half, especially towards the end of the half-series. Now the coach has consequences.

According to kicker information, Bild-Zeitung and Sky report Sunday afternoon that Tedesco will miss his captain on Sunday against VfL Wolfsburg (18:00, LIVE! The coach prefers Alexander Nübel, who had occasionally represented ferryman in the first round. At that time ferryman had to pause for injury reasons and watch how Nübel did his job satisfactorily, this time it is purely athletic reasons.

Tedesco now also open the open competition at the goalkeeper position. Convinced Nübel, he should stay between the posts until further notice. For the first time since his appointment as vice-captain Benjamin Stambouli will lead the Schalke on Sunday on the field.
    http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...htet-auf-kapitaen-faehrmann.html#omsmtwkicker

if Nubel can 100% displace Ralf we could end up with 2/3 GKs who are 1BL starters for the U21 in Summer. And Nubel is Germany U21 #1 too. Besides also getting younger GKs in the league which is never a bad thing.

also for Hertha Berlin today 99-Smarsch makes the bench for the 5th or 6th time in his short pro career. Jarstein is getting close to the end. Whether Smarsch or Korber that is likely to add more future young GKs soon.

and let's not forget Schubert who's going to 1BL next season.

Lowen assisted FCN's only goal in a 3-1 loss to Hertha.

while yesterday Barkok got like 14 min as a sub and seems to have impressed.

Aymen Barkok impressed in his short run because he did not lose a ball, was passicher and showed eye.⇥ Grade: 3+
    https://www.wz.de/sport/fussball/fo...-augsburg-die-spieler-nach-noten_aid-35756057

Ducksch was an example of Funk's lucky luck, he had ordered the second division top scorer in the starting eleven, although this was not a minute since the beginning of November. Jonathan Schmid's free kick (64th): Benito Raman arrived in his 25 minutes of five shots, one of which rushed to the winning goal in the net, Aymen Barkok and others Rouwen Hennings put strong offensive accents, "We really wanted to win this game," said the coachfuchs, "and I supported that through these changes." We all felt that FC Augsburg had problems and wanted to take advantage of this insecurity. "

Nubel had a fantastic reflex save early on to keep it 0-0.

meanwhile another 02 seems to be moving up to U19.
Once again, Mehmet Can Aydin (U17) started in the starting line-up of the U19 and completed his second test match at the Schalke A-Juniors during the winter preparation. In addition, head coach Norbert Elgert changed his team for the second half vigorously in order to grant as many players match practice.

what a defensive mess from Schalke. Nubel did his job as the shot hit the post but the defense was slow to react and some even ball watching.

he's obviously not going to lack in terms of physicality. Wonder how he'll do post U19 break. I do wonder what will happen to him since he is at Frankfurt of all clubs. Had he stayed at FCN he could breakthrough a lot faster.

still find it weird how no one stays at FCN even when they play youngsters just to move to bigger clubs. I mean how about moving to bigger club after breakingthrough at FCN?

98-Sidney Friede finally made his pro debut on his Belgium loan coming on the 87th min in an important 2-1 win. Played something like 6 min if you include injury time. Well hopefully he breakthroughs the XI next.

Good to see Schalke going with Nübel as their new first choice. Fährmann is still a decent keeper and not too old, but it's always good to see a youth option given the vote of confidence to go ahead and be the new starter that way.

Hope to see Barkok play a bigger role in the Rückrunde. He was originally a breakthrough player couple season ago and has good talent.

my hope for Barkok is that he manages to breakthrough Fortuna XI, then permanent transfer to Fortuna who seem likely to survive their 1st 1BL season since promotion. I have massive doubts that he'll breakthrough Frankfurt's XI.

so what's the current list of youngsters who need a change of clubs whether permanent or loan.

Knothe, Wiemann, Schreck, Burnic, Fuhrich, Jacobsen, Hack. Also feels like Saglam and Janelt aren't in a great place for dev either. Bochum coach barely used subs and when he does mostly scrap min. Anyone else?

also a bunch of II players who it feels like they've played RL long enough and need to move up. Although feels like most of these won't move until Summer.

curious to see what happens with Shabani, Ajax are interested in him and they even seem willing to play him. Sounds like a better deal than roting in the Bayern II for years at least at Ajax he could get 1st division experience. Although seems like Summer move might be more likely.

    Rather concern about Havertz’s progress

He is being converted into an “8” , he is just very unluck that he is having some bad coaches throughout his career

He has limited time going forward now, because coach always plays with just one defensive midfielder and he has to drop back often for the protection in midfield

He doesn’t attack the box as much as he used to.

If he gets into the box more, maybe Volland will find it a lot easier to perform as well. Now Volland needs to deal with two CBs which isn’t an easy task.
If Havertz goes into the box more as a SS/AM, Volland will have more chance doing one-versus-one. Can create space too

Converting Havertz into an “8” is a big concern. He is very average there

Too bad Herrlich, Loew And Bosz are all terrible coaches, that’s why I want him to leave

so your worry is about the guy who's am already established pro? Besides Havertz had numerous numerous chances to score vs Gladbach but most were either missed or saved/stopped by Sommer. Was more towards Sommer was too good in that game, man of the match, nothing would go by him.

-Glatzel scored a hat trick in U18 FA Youth Cup in a 4-0 win.

takes his season tally to 20 goals also recently made the Liverpool U23 squad for the 1st time although unused bench player. And before that he scored in a U23 friendly vs Man U U23 in Dec.

-meanwhile Ducth 2nd division action, looks like Frey has established himself as a regular, seems like half of his games he starts for PSV II and the other half he plays a good/decent amount as a sub. While Joshua Holtby since his Winter move has started 2/2 games and assisted today in a 2-2 draw vs PSV II.

more on Frey who played in a 0-0 vs Man U U23 last week.

PSV players to watch out for

PSV were the better side on the night and you can bet United will have been keeping an eye on their young prospects as well as their own.

The Dutch side's No.10 Mauro Junior, an agile, left-footed Brazilian who has represented PSV's senior side four times this season, was particularly impressive as he picked up the ball in between the lines of United's defence and midfield with frequency.

Right-winger Aboukhlal tested the left side of United's defence, while lanky central midfielder Marlon Frey also impressed.

Neudecker has played well in 2BL it's about time he jumps to 1BL!

Schreck seems to be going nowhere until Summer.
Schreck is looking for his chance at Bayer
Sam Schreck, however, is unlikely to leave Leverkusen during this transfer period. The attacking midfielder and U-20 national player, who is still tied to the factory club until 2021, has a clear tendency to seek his chance in Leverkusen at least until the summer.

well Bayer still have 3 competitions to play this season.

another joins Jena in 3rd Liga.

on the other hand J.Eggestein is being praised as important player especially as a prospective starter and renewal talks ongoing.

-somewhat disappointing (unless it's a loan) that Daferner is being linked to his old club of 1860 Munich in 3rd Liga.
    https://www.liga3-online.de/1860-muenchen-kehrt-christoph-daferner-zurueck/

it's such a shame that 2BL doesn't seem to be a viable option as so many players are being dumped to 3rd Liga.

-Now for some friendly game updates as 3rd Liga comes back this weekend and 2BL the following week.
Magdeburg plays only 3 youth players and 2/3 score in a 3-2 win. With Rother and Preissinger scoring.

Kiel played a 0-0 game where
    XI: Dehm, Karazor, Serra
subs: Bisseck (debut for the club), Fleckstein, Alt, Sander, Morschel, Awuku, Sicker

    FC Kaiserslautern played
Grill, Sickinger, Schad, Fechner, Bergmann, Kühlwetter and Huth in a 3-0 win.
but once again Huth is nothing but a sub and he scored 2/3 goals in span of 14 min. He never starts any games, always sub....and even then he's one of FCK's top scorers this season.

Furth drew Sandhausen 1-1, for Furth it was Abouchabaka who scored off the bench.
"Elias Abouchabaka finally scored the first goal of the day. After his injury in mid-December, it was the first use for the 18-year-olds. In the 83rd minute, David Atanga showed a great overview and started the situation with a strong pass. Youngster Abouchabaka was then able to penetrate freely into the box, put the ball on his strong left foot and slid the ball into the far corner."

glad to see him score on his comeback game from injury and against another 2BL club. Should help his chances for game time besides impressing in every game he played. (except for the game he got injured after like 3-5 min in mid-Dec from coming on as a sub)

youth who played: Reese, Raum, Abouchabaka, Guthorl, Jaeckel, Bauer, Kirsch, Sontheimer, Funk

However, the German team will not be able to travel full on the Algarve. "We will renounce some regular players for school reasons, and we also have some injury-related failures to complain about," said Feichtenbeiner. "Nevertheless, the tournament offers us good testing opportunities to put the tactical issues involved in our game design, which we've been working hard on in La Manga, into true endurance tests, and as a team, we want to use this tournament to work even closer together and be as good as we can EM qualification to be prepared. "

so all the absentees seem either injured or busy with school.

    also for Gul
"We are sure that Gökhan has the potential to prevail in professional football. At the SV Wehen Wiesbaden he should collect match practice in the 3rd league, to get closer to this goal, "said Fortunas sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel.

looks like Fortuna are high on him, would be nice if he can cement himself at Fortuna next season to give us more cb options for U21 that play in 1BL.

Glatzel getting praise from U18 coach.

Lewtas said: “He’s a good finisher, he scores goals, plays between the goal frame, so normally if you put the ball in there he’s there to score.

“We’re working hard with him on his link-up play and bringing others in and combining, he can play in the pockets.
“At the moment, he’s still developing. As I’ve said before, the kid’s missed an awful lot of footy, so this is his first season back.

“He’s still evolving himself and finding his way, but he’s someone between the posts who’s a bit of a fox in the box if you like!
“He’s around there whenever the ball drops, his headers, left foot - goalscorer.”

Unlike other countries, Germany required kids to complete Abitur. They need to pass academic exams even they wanna be professional footballers

So they are generally very busy from 17-18 before the exam.

School can be a reason why they weren’t nominated, deal with clubs... many factors nowadays

and then clubs complain when Germany doesn't perform in youth tournaments.:p
