-not that it matters since RB is terrible but Majetschak got 7 minutes in a 1-1 draw today. Stierlin and Krahl were unused bench players. Klostermann assisted the RB Leipzig goal too.

-also sad to see Frankfurt's 1st friendly, they played every player on the team except for Knothe, lol. Pretty disgusting that they are using the kid only to get 12 German players. What a way to delay the kid's career.

-Mainz and Freiburg played 2 friendlies with each other, ones who played
F.Muller, Dahmen, Gurleyen, Oztunali, Boukhalfa, Koch, Stenzel, Torres, Stenzel, Waldschmidt, K.Schlotterbeck,Kammerbauer, Pieringer
    Baku

Oztunali scored in the game he played in, both games ended in 2-2 draw and some of these were subs.

-Wolfsburg played Itter and Rexhbeçaj as 30 min sub at the 60th min in a 3-0 win.

-Kauper talks about his loan, Bremen and role models.

to think had it not been for his injuries that took him out for months from the beginning of the season he likely would be a 1BL player.

Wonder if fitness kept Daferner out of today's match. Also looks like it terms of pecking order, Pieringer is ahead of Nieland

Nieland has been out since early November and I recall it was said that he'd be out for like 2 months. Likely he's getting ready for Freiburg II when RL kicks off again.

at this rate it seems like everyone is made of glass.

04-Lucas Copado (who seems to have moved to Bayern U16) is currently the leading scorer in a 2 day tournament that started today. At 4 goals scored in 3 games, scoring in every game.

The following scorers are in 2nd at 3 goals each in Kojic (Schalke), Marie (HSV), Schiano (Dortmund)

tournament is U15 BWK-ArenaCup, also includes West Ham United that got trashed in every game and RB Salzburg who only managed 1 pts.

    04-Pepe Breckner Interview.
Pepe Brekner plays football so well that he is allowed to play for the U16 of his club even though he is only 14 years old.The former Waldtanner attacker does not do that at any club:

He started playing football at the football field in Waldtann, then with his brother Carlos. His first goals were scored by Pepe Brekner for the GSV at the Bambini, his coach at that time: Arthur Brekner, the father. "It was early hinted that he is a good one. He has a great shot, a good ball handling, understanding football and a good positional play. But that it sometimes goes so far, that has only become apparent in the course of time, "says Arthur Brekner. He currently sees his son as a strong left-back - but that looks different. "I like to play on the left or right wing," says Pepe Brekner. The last word in this case, but his coach at Bayern, Danny Schwarz. "At the moment Pepe is still a striker, but I also want to use him in other positions." In fact, Black can also imagine using Pepe in the back left. "He is a very good all-rounder. He is good at everything. Now it's time to promote a few things that he then makes extraordinary. "That's what distinguishes the top players from others.

Pepe is even a special case, even in the offspring of FC Bayern Munich, where there are only football gifted . "Pepe used to be raised to the U16 because he has the potential and the physical resources," says Schwarz.

The jump is already big enough, but at the FC Bayern München he is huge, because: "Our U 16 does not play against young people of the same age, but against the older year, so the U 17 of the other teams," said Schwarz. This is part of Munich's junior philosophy: The Bayern players should be able to prevail against older, more robust players and technically solve problems - " so they are optimally promoted," says Schwarz.

Darmstadt called up besides Platte/Mehlem, 2 U19 players 00-Leon Muller and 01-Carl Leonhard to the 1st team Winter Camp. Muller was involved in Summer with them but 1st time for Leonhard.

U15 Pape Cup was won by Hoff U15.
Top Scorer: Keke Maximilian Topp (Bremen) with 8 goals
    Best Player: Umut Tohumcu (Hoff)
    Best GK: Paul Siegers (Hoff)

Tournament also included foreign clubs like Spurs who seems like they got trashed in a game too.

My concern with Lucas Copado is where he will play at pro level

His father was a pro n is very small. Lucas Copado won’t be a big kid but he’s playing striker

He might end up being smaller than 173cm , maybe develop as a winger? I don’t know if he has the pace n technique to play out wide

If Ginczek's injury is serious and misses significant time wonder whether they'll call up Hanslik to the senior team

Ginczek told Gary Gordon that he is injured but he thinks it won’t be something that keeps him out for long ...

    Maybe 2-3 weeks?

I hope Hanslik will play tho

maybe a SS or 2 striker formation, but you have to remember there are short strikers that are in 170-175 around. It's rarer but still a thing. Even if the ideal is 180+, if one is short than he has to make up for it in other ways.

speaking of 04-Mekoma also seems to have won best player in a tournament.

04 seems to be shaping into an interesting group even more so if you add Moukoko and all the ones who seem to be thriving in these tournaments, all which include some International clubs too.

I mean the 04 of Bayern (including even some 05) even won the ICC in Summer 2018 where they faced International clubs and beat them. Including 3-1 vs Chelsea in final where Bayern U15 pretty much dominated the game. Hulsmann won best GK and Lore won Best Player.

Umut Tohumcu from Hoff recently won best player as posted in this page. Topp won Golden Boot.

    After 2002.things will be better

Many good talent in each age group. Quantity wise no longer a concern

    Much better than 1997-2001

We are just talking about raw talent, at least they know how to deal with one -v-one, not just pass n move.

    It takes time

    1999 and 2000 are ok

Not half as great as 1988, 1995, 1996

should open up a spot for Bayern U17 to up someone in 2nd half of the season. Sieghart was originally the main striker until he lost his spot than got injured for awhile. Then he pretty much had no role to play anymore.

Still uncertain of whether Bayern have a strategy to implement Meier and Lungwitz. Meier could benefit from a loan out just like Fein. While Lungwitz's contract expires in the summer

Kuhn assisted Jong Ajax's 2nd goal in a 2-2 draw, was also involved in build up to the 1st goal. From the highlights looks like he was involved in the game in other chances too.

Henrichs had an assist in a 1-1 draw for Monaco.

U15 BWK-ArenaCup ended with Mainz U15 winning the whole thing as they beat Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 in final, goal scored by Mekoma.

    Best Player Tom Bischof (Hoff)
Top Scorer: Godjes Yeboah (RB Leipzig) with 10 goals
    Best GK: Valentin Rommel (Stuttgart)

    Top 5 Scorers were
    1-Godjes Yeboah(RB Leipzig) with 10
2-Lucas Copado (Bayern) with 8 goals
    3-Tom Bischoff (Hoff)with 6 goals
4-Dennis Kaygin (Mainz) with 6 goals
5-Maximilian Wagner (Stuttgart) with 6 goals

looking up Kaygin kind of nuts that fupa has him at 32 goals in 8 games for Mainz playing in C-Jumioren RL Sudwest

RB Leipzig had a friendly that rested most 1st teamers
    starters: Stierlin, Majetschak,
subs: Krahl, Jakel, Krauss, Hartmann, Winter

RB won 1-0 with a Majetschak assist. Looks like Majetschak played well and got audience applause when subbed out.
